The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, March 12, tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have a tough heart-to-heart about where things stand between them.
After Elena comes to Devon’s penthouse, they’ll get honest about their lingering love and what it means for their future.
Devon will acknowledge that they share the same feelings for each other, but he’ll feel like it’s best if they move on and admit they’re not meant to be.
Elena will accept Devon’s decision, but she won’t be able to stop the waterworks. As Elena cries, Devon will gently reach up to wipe a tear off her cheek.
That moment of contact will bring Devon and Elena closer as they try to say goodbye. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will lean in for a steamy kiss, which will lead to even more intimate moments on the sofa.
It looks like Elena and Devon will make love again, though it won’t change Devon’s mind about pursuing a future together. What it will do, however, is make the secret Devon’s keeping from Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) even worse. Devon hasn’t told Amanda about the ice storm hookup either.
Although that hookup went down before Devon and Amanda got serious, perhaps she wouldn’t have gotten serious with him if she’d known the truth. Regardless, Devon’s latest romp with Elena will be a problem in more ways than one.
This will be full-blown cheating, so that’s an issue on its own. Plus, Elena will accidentally leave a bracelet behind – and Amanda’s going to find that bracelet at Devon’s penthouse next week.
In the meantime, another relationship will remain in jeopardy. Although Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) are willing to fight for their marriage, it’s not going to be easy.
Sharon in particular will have to put some real work into Friday’s therapy session with a marriage counselor named Iris (Kathryn Browning).
This will no doubt bring some uncomfortable questions about Sharon’s connection to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and whether she can truly break free from the hold he has on her.
As for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on Friday, she’ll catch Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) by surprise as they await Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) decision on who’ll win the bid for Cyaxares.
Whether that’s related to this deal or a surprise that’s more personal in nature, Billy and Victoria will have an intense conversation.
Finally, Y&R spoilers say Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will keep planning for her happy family.
Abby will still have Baby Chancellor on the brain as she works to lock in all the details ahead of the surrogacy, which Devon and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) have agreed to be part of.
Things are going pretty well in Abby’s mission to bring a baby into the world, so we have to wonder when everything might come crashing down. For now, Abby will look forward to being a mom, so it’ll be interesting to see if her plan sticks in the weeks ahead.
