The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 21, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a secret bombshell while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) makes a stunning next move. Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have a battle brewing, so let’s talk about what’s in store on Friday’s action-packed episode.
For starters, Victor will be a busy guy since he’ll be making preparations for Newman Media. That’s the new name of Cyaxares, the company Victor purchased so he could hand the reins over to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victor will do some serious plotting and hope to sink Billy hard in the upcoming war.
Y&R fans may see Billy’s prep work as well since he’s nailed down a strategy. Billy plans to undermine the competition while they’re still in the transition period. He wants to make the public question Newman Media credibility right off the bat – and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) supports this tactic.
There’ll be some scheming afoot on both sides, but Victor will hope to crush any weak attempt to fight off his attack. It turns out Victor will also find himself in possession of a secret bombshell – one that’ll affect Amanda Sinclair’s (Karla Mosley) legal defense of Sutton Ames (Jack Landron).
Victor will reveal this shocker to Amanda once Monday, May 24, rolls around, but Friday should bring the first signs of whatever Victor knows and can spill. It may be something Victor uncovers while he’s sorting things out for Newman Media – or perhaps it’ll be a secret Victor’s been sitting on all along.
Either way, Amanda will certainly be intrigued once Victor delivers this startling info that ties in with her past. As for Kyle, he’ll make a stunning next move as he gets ready to claim paternity.
We know Kyle will get another DNA test soon, so he may tell Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) that’s the following step. Kyle might also make plans for an interview or press conference if the DNA results prove he’s indeed the father.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) will remain terrified despite Kyle’s reassurance about their future, so there are bound to be more problems along the way. As other Y&R news comes in, we’ll bring you updates.
