The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 28, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will find common ground while Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) tackles a challenge. This will all be part of a special episode to honor the memory of Kristoff St. John and his beloved character, Neil Winters.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) have been working hard on a memorial tribute for Neil, which will be a self-guided walking tour of the city.
Of course, they couldn’t pull this off alone! There’ll be some important people in town who help remember Neil now that we’ve passed the two-year anniversary mark of his death.
Sharon will be tasked with creating a special drink at Crimson Lights – no doubt something that incorporates some of Neil’s favorite ingredients plus a dash of love.
Devon will have a special jazz exhibition at Society with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) blessing. There’ll be plenty of great music since that’s something that was important to Neil and shaped his life.
Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) also helped Lily put together a collage of photos that’ll be on display for guests to gaze at. It’ll be a memory wall filled with pictures of Neil and the people he loved most.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will do her part to help remember Neil by playing the piano, so that’ll keep the music theme going from earlier.
As for Victor and Jack, they’ll focus on what they have in common rather than the Newman-Abbott war of the past.
Both Jack and Victor considered Neil to be a wonderful man, so that’s something they can agree on. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will be part of this memorial tribute show as well, so it’ll be nice to see Ashley back in the action. Y&R fans know Neil certainly mattered to Ashley a great deal.
Although Devon will be busy making sure things run smoothly, he’ll make time for progress with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
There’s been some tension between them ever since all the Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) went down, but Nate and Devon have slowly been trying to rebuild their relationship.
Devon and Nate will take another big step toward that on Friday since it’s what Neil would want. As other news and updates come in, we’ll keep you in the loop.
