The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, November 19 Recap – Ashley & Jack’s Trip to Find Abby – Lily Rages at Billy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, November 19, teases that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will plan a Spain trip to find Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also rage over the deal Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) offered Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

In her motel room, Abby will get on the phone and charter a jet. She’ll want full discretion and will pay whatever it takes for their silence. Abby will seem relieved as she talks about the round trip with one passenger on the way and two coming back.

At the Chancellor mansion, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will let Ashley see the note Abby left behind. Ashley will insist they have to find Abby before it’s too late and will text Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to come over for updates.

At Society, Lily will argue that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) let Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) use his past as a weapon.

Lily will contend that this is all about Victor and Billy’s feud, but Ashland will think it’s really about Billy’s inability to let go of Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle).

After Ashland acknowledges that, he’ll urge Lily to cut Billy loose and move forward on her own if she’s really concerned about protecting herself as well as ChancComm.

At the ranch, Billy will insist he’s offering his head on a silver platter and will wonder if that’s not enough.

Victor will admit he’s intrigued by Billy’s proposal to step down in exchange for leaving Lily and ChancComm alone.

After Victor sees Ashley’s text summoning him to the Chancellor mansion, he’ll agree to consider Billy’s proposal and invite him to show himself out.

Over at The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will continue to mull over moments that were more than friendly with Jack.

When Jack arrives, he’ll get Phyllis all flustered and understand why things are awkward between them.

Jack will think Phyllis and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) split made matters worse, but he’ll predict a time in the not-too-distant future when they can get back to normal.

Phyllis will seem like she wants to say something, but Jack will hurry out before she can.

Soon after, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will arrive looking to book an escape for a buyer. She’ll eventually pry it out of Phyllis that she’s struggling to make sense of her feelings for Jack.

Lauren won’t think it’s possible for Jack and Phyllis to just be platonic considering everything they’ve been through.

Lauren act like they could never be “just pals” and will question if Phyllis might’ve been jealous when Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) was with Jack.

Phyllis will acknowledge her special connection to Jack and wonder if she wants more than friendship.

Lauren will advise Phyllis to take her time and proceed with caution since she won’t want either of them to get hurt.

At ChancComm, Jack will fill Billy in on Chance being presumed dead. Talk will eventually turn to the mess at ChancComm, so Billy will recap his side of the Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) story.

Jack will mention the damage that Billy can’t undo, so Billy will shout that he screwed up.

“I made a deal with the double-dealing son of a bitch, and I got played,” Billy will admit. He’ll suggest he gambled and lost, so Jack will be concerned over the risks Billy keeps taking.

Billy will argue that he already found a way to make it right by going to Victor. He’ll explain that he told Victor he would step down on the condition that Lily and ChancComm would be left alone.

“Sorry, you did what?” Lily will ask as she enters. Once Jack exits, Lily will rip into Billy for making a unilateral decision that affects the company so profoundly.

Lily will suggest Victor can’t be trusted and won’t think this will change anything when it comes to Victor using the situation to his advantage.

Lily will rant about Billy leaving her on her own to fend off the vultures. She’ll storm out and leave Billy looking pensive moments later.

Back with Victor, he’ll arrive at the Chancellor mansion and discuss the Abby situation with Devon as well as Ashley.

After Victor guesses Abby might’ve chartered a plane, Devon will point out that someone needs to be in Valencia.

Ashley will volunteer and note that she can take a Newman security team member with her – preferably one who speaks Spanish and knows the lay of the land.

Victor won’t be thrilled over the danger Ashley could land in, but she’ll feel like she can appeal to Abby mother to mother.

Once Victor gets a call from his investigator, he’ll follow a tip and dig around the motel room Abby was just in. Devon will help while Ashley watches Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor.

After Devon and Victor find a military pin, they’ll assume Abby indeed still thinks Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is alive. Devon will understand that Abby must feel like she’s doing the right thing trying to find her husband.

That said, Devon will insist Abby’s child needs her more than anything and will worry about how this is going to play out.

Next on Friday’s Y&R episode, Jack will stop by the Chancellor mansion and get the latest news on Abby.

When Jack finds out Ashley is headed to Spain, he’ll insist on joining her. Ashley will think Jack’s running from something and will have a major outburst when he hints that it involves Phyllis.

It’ll be obvious Ashley doesn’t want her brother going down that romantic road again, but he’ll keep the focus on finding Abby.

Ashley will look at Dominic in his bassinet and promise that she’s going to bring his mommy home to him.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby’s mission will press on as Jack and Ashley gear up for a search of their own.
