The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, November 5 Recap – Lily Walks Out On Billy – Adam’s Family Secret – Amanda’s Trip

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, November 5, reveals that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will keep a family secret while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) walks out on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also suggest a Vegas trip to cheer up Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so here’s what Y&R fans can look forward to.

At Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will spot Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) by the bar and urge her to hear him out. Nick will admit he’s hurting and will miss when it used to be the two of them against the world – or at least against the Newmans.

Although Nick will acknowledge the pain he caused with his betrayal, he’ll know he can’t turn back the clock and do things differently.

Nick will just hope Victoria can reexamine his intentions and see that he acted out of love when he investigated Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).

Victoria will still be hurt and a tad standoffish, but she’ll be more willing to talk than she was previously.

Victoria will encourage Nick to open up about his issues with Phyllis, who might be the only person who can make and keep Nick happy in Victoria’s opinion.

Victoria will note that she’s been doing some soul-searching and sees what a gift life is now. She’ll think it’s senseless to squander it by being angry and cruel.

Nick will realize Ashland’s situation has really put things into perspective for Victoria.

At Crimson Lights, Amanda will fill Phyllis in on Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) secret recording. Phyllis will be glad to hear Amanda handled it, but she’ll worry since Sutton is so crazy and desperate.

Phyllis will wonder what makes Amanda think Sutton won’t try to take her out like he did her father.

Amanda won’t think Sutton would be foolish enough to tamper with her brakes the day before the trial, but she’ll worry he could still win the court battle. Phyllis will have faith in Amanda and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to pull off a win.

When Amanda hopes Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) can make it tomorrow, Phyllis will ask why he wouldn’t be able to.

That’ll lead to Amanda admitting that Chance Chancellor (soon-to-be Connor Floyd might really be gone, so Phyllis will reel as she realizes Amanda means dead.

Amanda will worry she shouldn’t have told Phyllis, but she’ll mention the explosion at the safehouse.

Phyllis will think that puts her own problems in perspective and will mention her breakup with Nick. Amanda will be sorry to hear that and will suggest a girls’ trip to Vegas soon so they can pamper themselves.

After Amanda takes a call from Michael and learns he wants to meet now, she’ll make sure Phyllis is all right before taking off.

Phyllis will later contemplate texting Nick to ask if he’s OK considering the Chance news, but she’ll delete the message before sending.

At the ranch, Adam will arrive looking for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and will learn he’s at the Chancellor mansion.

Adam will mention paying a visit to Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and the new baby, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will angrily order him not to.

Once Nikki settles down, she’ll reveal that Chance may have been killed in an explosion – though she’ll ask Adam to keep it quiet until they have confirmation.

Adam will find it hard to process that his seemingly invincible friend is gone. He’ll hope to think of Chance any time he’s ever tempted to backslide, but he’ll doubt Nikki believes that.

Nikki will acknowledge that she’s seen positive behavior in Adam lately, but she’ll have concerns about his latest plot with Victor. Adam will eventually get fed up since he won’t know what he has to do to prove himself.

On his way out, Adam will insist he knows what he’s accomplished and how far he’ll go to be the man he was always meant to be.

Next, Adam will join Nick and Victoria at Society. He’ll note that they seem to be reconciling and will promise he’s truly happy about that. While Adam’s meeting with Victor’s most trusted PI, Nick will point that meeting out to Victoria.

Nick will wonder what Adam and Victor are cooking up, but Victoria won’t think it’s anything for Nick to worry about.

Victoria will admit it involves ChancComm, but she’ll assure Nick that she doesn’t know the details and will want to keep it that way. Nick will think it seems like Victoria’s on Adam’s side, but she’ll argue that she wouldn’t go that far.

In the end, Victoria will be glad she talked to Nick since they’ll be one step closer to patching things up.

After Adam wraps up his meeting, he’ll approach Nick again. Nick will be curious why Adam is so cozy with Victor’s PI, but Adam will claim it’s about Newman Media business.

When Nick brings up Victor’s penchant for playing musical chairs when it comes to who he approves of, Adam will imply that Nick put himself outside the circle.

Nick will suggest that if he finds out Adam’s intentions were malicious, then he’ll assume Adam really is a monster.

Adam won’t think this is the time to be taking shots at each other, especially with everything their family is going through right now.

That comment will confuse Nick, so Adam will realize his brother hasn’t been given Chance updates yet.

Adam will cover by acting like nothing is ever easy with the Newmans, but Nick will still be suspicious. He’ll consider calling Phyllis before ditching the idea and putting his phone down.

At home, Lily will insist she’s been doing some thinking and feels Billy needs to drop all the Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) stuff.

Lily will think Gaines is trouble, but Billy will argue that they don’t have to actually publish the story. Just the threat of it will be enough.

“So blackmail is our goal now?” Lily will ask angrily. She’ll argue that’s not how they operate, but Billy will think it’s their best option to avoid the destruction of ChancComm.

Lily will maintain that Gaines can’t be trusted. She won’t be keen on battling the Newmans and will once again bring up the idea of talking to Victoria.

Billy will counter that he’s not going to run to his ex and ask her to protect his company.

When Lily realizes Billy would rather go to war than ask Victoria for help, she’ll decide she’s done with this conversation.

Lily will tell Billy goodnight and stomp upstairs, so Billy will look pensive once he’s alone.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily and Billy’s relationship will be put to the test in the coming episodes, so stay tuned.
