The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, October 15 Recap – Gaines Global Video Threat – Adam Stops Nick from Ruining Wedding

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, October 15, reveals that Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) will deliver a global video release threat – and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will stop Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) from ruining the wedding.

In Nick’s room on Friday’s Y&R episode, he’ll demand answers until Gaines admits his name and reveals he knows Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) deepest, darkest secret.

Gaines will explain the will forgery after Camilla Rhodes’ death and will offer proof – unless Nick wants to just ask Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Nick will get updates on Victor pressuring Gaines to stay silent. He’ll also find out Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) flew Gaines there, but Gaines will admit he didn’t trust Billy to use this info properly.

Since the wedding will already be underway, Gaines will push Nick to help him stop Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) from marrying that “slimeball.”

Nick will pace briefly before telling Gaines to stay there. He’ll lock the door behind him as he goes and frustrate Gaines in the process.

Meanwhile, Ashland will begin the vows he’s written for Victoria. He’ll talk about how Victoria’s love changed him and how she accepts him despite his flaws.

Ashland will promise absolute honesty moving forward and will point out that Victoria showed him the power of true forgiveness.

In the crowd, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will grumble to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Victoria forgiving “this guy” and not Nick.

Next, Victoria will share her own heartfelt vows about the connection she feels to Ashland and how he’s helped her grow as a person, too.

Victoria will feel complete and will acknowledge that nobody’s perfect, but she’ll think love can transcend all when it’s meant to be.

Victoria will acknowledge Ashland’s illness as well and will wish she could promise him forever. What Victoria can promise is to savor every precious second, so that’s what she’ll pledge to do.

When it’s time for Ashland and Victoria to say “I do,” Adam will notice Nick standing off to the side. Billy will take in the nearby scene and whisper to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) that it can’t be good.

Nick will tell Adam about finding Gaines, who has a good reason to sabotage the wedding.

Adam will warn Nick to stop before he does something drastic. Nick will know it’s extreme, but he’ll rant that Victoria’s about to marry a man who stole a dead woman’s entire fortune.

Even so, Adam won’t think Nick can come back from torpedoing Victoria’s nuptials. He’ll point out how happy Victoria looks as the ring exchange plays out.

Adam will ask if Nick wants to be the guy who wipes that smile off Victoria’s face and ruins what should be the best day of her life.

After Ashland and Victoria are pronounced husband and wife, Nick will glare at them. Adam will insist Nick did the right thing, but they’ll both agree it’s strange for Nick to be taking moral advice from Adam – especially about Victoria.

While Nick goes to check on Gaines, Adam will vow to get security.

As for Billy, he’ll greet the newlyweds and assure Victoria her happiness is what he truly wanted. Victoria will insist that Billy got his wish since she’s indeed happy.

Sally will also overhear Lily and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) gushing over the wedding dress.

They’ll both be eager to find out who designed it – and Lily will insist she’d offer any amount of money to have a dress that gorgeous.

After a tense moment with Victoria, Phyllis will complain to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Nick not wanting her to help him. Phyllis will also send Nick a text to find out if he’s coming to the reception.

Over with Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), he’ll compliment Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) voice following her performance.

Noah will crack a joke, but he’ll sense that Tessa’s mind is somewhere else. Tessa will seem glum as she admits she misses Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).

Back with Billy, he’ll tell Lily that perhaps the universe is trying to tell him something with this whole Gaines situation.

Billy will confess that maybe part of him was hoping Victoria would judge Ashland as harshly as he’s felt judged at times. He’ll know that’s silly since Victoria has forgiven him so many times and will assure Lily that he’s genuinely moved on.

Once Nick unlocks his room, Gaines will ask if he’s letting him out in time to catch the bouquet. Nick won’t get why Gaines is still acting so smug.

Adam will eventually tell Nick he made a judgment call and didn’t call security. He’ll want to keep this quiet – and moments later, Victor will appear.

Victor will be grateful that Gaines didn’t get a chance to destroy the wedding, but he’ll warn there’s still a threat to Victoria and her company. That’s something Victor will refuse to let happen.

Over with Billy again, he’ll get a text with a file attached from Gaines. Billy will explain to Lily that it’s a video detailing all of Ashland’s crimes and offering evidence.

Billy will play a snippet where Gaines is about to read Camilla Rhodes’ letter aloud – the original one explaining why Ashland wasn’t supposed to inherit a penny.

Billy will note that unless they publish within the hour, Gaines is going to send this out globally.

Lily will realize this is all anyone would need to take Ashland down and will wonder what they’re going to do.

During Summer Newman Abbott (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) conversation about Sally, Summer will admit she almost feels sorry for her – with an emphasis on almost!

Soon after, Summer will find out from Victoria that Sally designed her dress. “What?!” Summer will exclaim.

Victoria will eventually speak to Sally in private about the gown switcheroo. Although Victoria didn’t agree with Sally’s methods, she’ll thank her for the perfect dress and will offer a hug.

As for Ashland, he’ll share some nice moments with Jack and Kyle.

After Ashland thanks Kyle for taking such good care of Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), he’ll get Kyle’s word on keeping the parental channels open and easy.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland has more surprises in his future, so stay tuned.
