The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, October 29, tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will beg Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to find missing Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz). Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) plan will also flop with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so here’s what Y&R has in store on Friday’s episode.
Abby recently vowed not to give up on Chance and called Victor immediately after that declaration. It sounds like Abby’s ready to deliver a heartfelt plea and convince Victor to use his many resources.
Victor would do anything for Abby, but he may worry she’s giving herself false hope considering the evidence that Chance died.
Even so, Victor probably wouldn’t admit that when Abby’s in such a fragile state. Since Victor is the ultimate fixer, he’ll want to be there for Abby in any way he can.
That should include looking into where Chance might be hiding out as well as supporting Abby in her time of need.
Abby will lean on Victor as she tries to cope, so it sounds like some emotional father-daughter scenes are on the way.
Victor always steps up for his children when a crisis hits, so he’ll do everything in his power to dry Abby’s tears.
As for Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), she’ll make a tough choice that proves painful.
Amanda already told Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) she’d testify at Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) trial – and November sweeps spoilers back up the idea of Amanda avenging her dad’s death.
Amanda should move forward with her testimony, but she might have to do it against Naya Benedict’s (Ptosha Storey) wishes.
Even Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) might have concerns, but Amanda has to follow her heart. She’s determined to get justice for Richard Nealon, so she’ll do what she feels is right.
Of course, it might also be painful for Amanda to face Sutton before the trial. It looks like a tense meeting is indeed coming up for Sutton and Amanda, so that might tie in with the decision she makes on Friday.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will deliver a harsh dose of reality to an optimistic Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Nick will hope a romantic gesture can fix things between them, but Phyllis won’t think they’re getting to the core of their issues here.
Nick and Phyllis’ relationship will take another nosedive as the show prepares for their looming split.
