The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 3, tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will miss “Bowie” aka Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor and will be tormented by the trauma of her kidnapping ordeal. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will also hit a passion snag, so let’s discuss what’s coming up.
Y&R fans know Mariah had a nightmare following her rescue, but it looks like more are on the way. Perhaps viewers will even get to see what’s in Mariah’s head as she struggles to cope.
Mariah was trapped in that small room for so long that she still flies into a panic at the thought of it. She was afraid she might die in there and might’ve given up hope if it hadn’t been for Bowie.
Of course, Bowie is Abby’s son and now goes by the name Dominic, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy for Mariah to accept.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah’s history will haunt her, so her torment may go beyond the kidnapping chaos.
Mariah might think back to when she didn’t feel motherly and wasn’t interested in having children.
Like Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), this could even stir up some strong emotions related to Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) for Mariah.
Hilary and Mariah became friends toward the end, so Mariah was crushed when Hilary lost the baby before her death.
Knowing she carried Devon’s biological child – a child that he’s now giving to Abby and Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) – could eventually hit Mariah hard and add to her heartache.
Whatever the case, Friday’s episode will leave Mariah distraught and unsettled.
The fact that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) is still out there won’t do anything to ease Mariah’s mind. Mariah will still want Stitch locked up for what he did, but it doesn’t look like there’ll be any new leads.
In the meantime, Sally could end up snubbed.
Although Adam kisses Sally back after she plants one in Thursday’s show, he’s probably going to pull back on Friday and act like this isn’t a good idea. Adam might suggest Sally misunderstood his offer of a friendly party date and leave her feeling rejected.
Regardless, Adam will at least have to bail on Sally so he can rejoin the launch party and make a speech. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will do the same as the Newman men share their vision for the company.
Adam and Victor will hope to make Newman Media seem like a force to be reckoned with, but you can bet Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will keep scheming against them! As other Y&R news rolls in, we’ll deliver more updates.
