The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a Moses Winters recast is finally coming to town. Y&R fans have been hearing about Moses’ looming arrival for a while now, so it’s good to know Moses is indeed coming to Genoa City soon.
Jacob Aaron Gaines will be playing the part of teenage Moses, who’s the son of the late Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Sofia Dupre (Julia Pace Mitchell).
Moses was last portrayed by Dax Randall, who held the role in scattered appearances from 2016-2019. However, Moses has been aged up a bit to make him part of the teen scene. He’ll hopefully cross paths with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) eventually, but let’s talk about what’s in store when Moses first hits GC.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Gaines’ first airdate as Moses will be on Thursday, April 1. That’s when Moses will first arrive in town and interact with his big brother, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), as well as his big sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Lily and Devon will definitely give Moses a warm welcome as he settles in for his extended stay in Genoa City. Of course, Moses will also catch up with his cousin, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Those two will need to discuss Moses’ medical career aspirations and his upcoming internship at the New Hope Clinic.
Moses will be ready to learn all he can from Nate, who’ll be just as excited to mentor him. Although Nate had some initial reservations when he was approached with the idea, he’s completely on board now and will teach Moses everything he can in the coming weeks.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’ll be some new opportunities for drama and family connections once Moses moves in with Devon. We’ll probably see that Moses is wise beyond his years since he’s so career-focused and eager to work.
As for Jacob Aaron Gaines, he’s been featured in several major commercials and played a supporting role as Scott in Netflix’s Fatal Affair. Gaines’ other roles include Josh on a film called Motorvation and the part of Jared Black on a TV series called Dimensional Shift.
It’ll be great to see what Gaines brings to the role of Moses, so be sure to tune in on Thursday, April 1! We’ll deliver updates as other Y&R news becomes available.
