The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may wind up furious over Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) potential DNA scam. There are signs that point to Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) perhaps not being a real Abbott, which means Kyle the rich fake daddy may have been deceived!
Tara told Kyle that she got a paternity test of her own – and then Kyle followed that up with one of his own. However, Tara has proven she can be quite manipulative and will stop at nothing to get what she wants.
If Tara would threaten to disappear with Harrison to make Summer Newman (Hunter King) take a job in Milan, she’d absolutely threaten or bribe a lab tech.
On soaps, it’s remarkably easy to do a little DNA test tampering. It’s an accepted trope that happens quite frequently, so maybe that’s what’s going on here.
Tara may have decided to use Kyle as a backup option to wealth, power and a great family for Harrison.
Tara might’ve determined that her marriage to Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) was going to fall apart and then pursued this path once it did.
Y&R fans know Ashland got a DNA test as well, which proved he wasn’t Harrison’s father. However, a cheater like Tara probably stepped out on Ashland with other men besides Kyle.
The real father may not be rich and influential enough for Tara’s taste, so that’d explain why she felt the need to trick Kyle.
Not to mention Tara still has the hots for the dashing you Abbott and wants to build a family with him.
Kyle has been nothing but devoted to Harrison and has been caring toward Tara, too.
However, Kyle could be in for a rude awakening if Tara’s indeed lying to him. Tara’s letting Kyle get more and more attached to Harrison, who may not truly be Kyle’s son.
This could end in angry heartbreak for Kyle eventually and set up his Italy departure alone.
Kyle may get a happy reunion with Summer, but he could also have to endure the pain of losing Harrison and the biological connection he thought they had.
In the July 14 episode, Tara suggests she’s thankful every day that Harrison is an Abbott.
It’s one of those statements that seems quite revealing – like Tara made sure Harrison was an Abbott herself!
It’s certainly possible that Tara manufactured this whole situation and made it look like Harrison was Kyle’s kid.
