The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the CBS soap could be laying the groundwork for some major couple shakeups. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has made himself a target through his affair with Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) wife, Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Kyle really should’ve been more careful about keeping this secret under wraps, but it’s too late now!
Ashland is definitely coming for Kyle and those closest to him. He won’t stop until he makes Kyle pay the price for his mistake – and that means making sure Kyle loses Summer Newman (Hunter King).
There’s no way Ashland will allow Kyle to be happy with the woman he loves, so Kyle and Summer’s relationship will indeed be targeted.
Summer suggested that the only thing that could break them would be if Kyle lied to her, so Y&R’s setting up a scenario where Kyle will most likely lie due to whatever Ashland cooks up.
Meanwhile, we’ve got Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who seems poised to lose Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) one way or the other. It’s possible Sally’s past mistakes in LA will be too much for Jack to take – or perhaps it’ll be Sally’s continued war with Summer that really costs her.
It’s even possible Ashland will go after Jack’s romance as well since we know Ashland will definitely make Jack another target. Regardless, we’re seeing the path to a couple of lonely broken hearts – namely Kyle and Sally’s!
Sally may finally take advantage of an opportunity for revenge on Summer once she’s lost Jack. Since Sally has called Kyle a hottie before, she certainly wouldn’t mind hooking up with him.
The fact that it’d serve as payback for Summer and Jack would be icing on the cake.
Sally may find herself feeling vindictive and eager to seduce Kyle in the aftermath of Jack pushing her away. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) firmly believes Sally is dangerous and untrustworthy, so here’s Sally’s chance to prove it.
Of course, what starts out as a path to revenge could turn into genuine feelings for Kyle. Will Sally fall for Jack’s son next? Will Sally want a real future with Kyle, who’ll most likely become Summer’s ex?
Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle could find himself single along with Sally down the road. It’s a no-brainer for Y&R to put Sally and Kyle together – whether that’s through a steamy fling or a full-fledged romance.
