The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) could get their wedding plans back on track. In the March 16 episode, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will encourage Kyle to “put a ring on it” and take that next step with Summer.
Kyle will make it clear that they indeed intend to take that step when the time is right. However, there’s someone who could stand in Kyle and Summer’s way.
Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) has a reputation for being ruthless – and his suspicions about Kyle’s connection to Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will soon be on the rise.
Kyle may end up proposing again, which could bring plans for a “Skyle” wedding – a real one with their families this time, not just a simple elopement for Summer to bail on.
Unfortunately, Kyle and Summer’s wedding could land in jeopardy thanks to vengeful Ashland!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’s one thing that could break Summer and Kyle at this point. They can handle just about anything – except for more lies.
Summer will convey that to Kyle in the March 16 episode as well, so this seems like a troubling warning from the writers. There’s a good chance Kyle will wind up deceiving Summer down the road, so this may tie in with Ashland’s revenge.
If Ashland puts this puzzle together and determines that Kyle had an affair with Tara, it won’t take him long to figure out that Kyle could be Harrison Locke’s father. Ashland could run a DNA test to confirm it, which would set the stage for him to unleash his wrath on Kyle.
Of course, the quickest way to make Kyle suffer is to target Summer – and that’s something Kyle has already been concerned about. It’s easy to imagine Ashland threatening to blow up Summer’s world, which could force Kyle into a situation where he feels he must lie to his on-again fiancée.
Ashland might dig up dirt or even manufacture it if he has to. There’ll be opportunities for Ashland to gain leverage and use it against Kyle. Regardless, there’s no way Ashland will stand by and let Kyle live happily ever after with Summer.
