The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) could expose Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) con job on Noah Newman (Rory Gibson), so will she reveal a buried secret to stop her brother’s pursuit?
It’s obvious that Noah’s clinging to something familiar now that he’s around Tessa again. Noah got his heart broken big time in London, so it’s easy to see why he’d gravitate back to Tessa now that they’re back in each other’s orbit.
However, all Tessa does is talk about her intense connection and deep love for Mariah. Anything Noah’s feeling is one-sided at this point – and Mariah might go to great lengths to prove it!
This storyline is surely building somewhere, so Noah’s feelings for Tessa are going to be a problem.
What will Mariah do when she realizes Noah wants Tessa back? Mariah will no doubt get territorial and could end up blurting out some rather damaging information.
Noah’s operating under the assumption that he had something special with Tessa until Mariah came along and stole her away. That’s only half true since Tessa’s relationship with Noah wasn’t quite what it seemed to be.
After Tessa’s blackmail scheme blew up back in 2018, she put her heart on the line with Mariah by revealing why she came to Genoa City.
Tessa set out to marry a Newman, so Noah became her mark. She was trying to trick Noah into tying the knot so she could take a huge chunk of his money in the divorce.
Tessa acknowledged that Noah was sweet, which made it that much easier to pretend she loved him.
Mariah is the only one who knows the real story of why Tessa and Noah were a couple. Noah still thinks it was a legit romance, but that wasn’t the case by Tessa’s own admission.
Not even Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has confirmation on the con, so Mariah could really rock the boat by exposing this info. It might be something that comes out in the heat of the moment, but it could certainly infuriate Tessa if it does.
This could stir up some exciting conflict while simultaneously shutting down Noah’s pursuit of Tessa.
Tessa has clarified that she’s gay on the show, so there’s pretty much no way Y&R can do a Tessa and Noah reunion without causing an uproar.
It wouldn’t make sense anyway considering Tessa’s old Newman marriage and money plot, so this seems like the perfect time for Mariah to unleash that shocker.
Will Noah find himself heartbroken all over again? Will Mariah reveal the real reason Tessa was with Noah and cause major drama?
