The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the walls will close in on some Genoa City residents while others face medical nightmares and fierce faceoffs. There’ll be a lot going on in the coming weeks, so let’s look at some May sweeps highlights and gear up for the drama.
First, we should talk about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) quest to clear Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) name. Victor will make some bold moves to make sure that happens, but Adam will have to stay on the run in the meantime.
Of course, Victor also intends to make Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) pay for the setup, but she won’t go down without a fight. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will do something drastic as she works to get the Newmans off her back and out of her life forever.
As for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), she’ll definitely wish she hadn’t signed up for what she thought was a minor scheme. Chloe got caught up in way more than she bargained for with this poisoning plot, so look for this alliance to come back to bite her.
How far will Chloe go to stay out of prison? Chloe will definitely land in some trouble, so we’ll see if she winds up betraying Chelsea to get out of it. Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will also be in a fight for her life at the hospital following a sudden kidney crisis.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be prepared to make a big donor sacrifice for Faith’s sake, but could Adam swoop in with a last-minute save? It’s an option to consider if Nick’s plan falls through, especially since it’d give Adam yet another chance to play the hero.
Other Y&R spoilers say Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will continue to find herself the center of sometimes unwanted attention. Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Claire Egan) will hover more than ever as this pregnancy progresses, so it’ll be an adjustment for Mariah.
Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will remain on his assignment, so the strain of this forced separation will take a toll on Abby. Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will connect with a business colleague, but there’ll be potential to mix business with pleasure.
Could it be Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) who bonds with Victoria in more ways than one? Ashland will recover from his heart attack and make more ways in Genoa City eventually, so we’ll see if Victoria lands on his radar again.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will gladly take on any rivals they encounter, so they’ll be in agreement about ChancComm and their upcoming company decisions. On a personal level, there’ll be a bit of a disconnect since Billy and Lily may not be on the same page about where this relationship is really going.
As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), they’ll give friendship a shot despite their romantic feelings still buried under the surface. We’ll see if Elena and Nate’s desires perhaps become too much to bear down the road.
Amanda Sinclair (Karla Mosley) will uncover some bits and pieces of her family history, so those will play a role in how she handles Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) case. Things will get problematic for Amanda since new secrets will change the game and alter her view of the fam.
As for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), she won’t be ready to throw in the towel on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) just yet. Sally will also plot against Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so their engagement will be hit in the ultimate weak spot. Kyle and Summer’s wedding could soon be in jeopardy!
Finally, Rey and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will have to make a firm decision about their marriage. They’ll address Sharon’s feelings for Adam and whether it’s really possible for her to move on. The Young and the Restless spoilers say this couple’s fate will be decided, so stay tuned to see what’s in store.
