The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that one CBS soap star is recovering following a sudden procedure and is sporting a new look at a result. Y&R viewers know Mishael Morgan as Amanda Sinclair in Genoa City – and she’s been doing a great job in her current storylines with all the Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) cheating drama and her continued birth mom saga.
However, Morgan’s real life took a rather soapy turn recently, so she offered updates on Instagram to fill fans in. “So this happened!” Morgan said in her post. “Emergency eye surgery not fun; but saving my vision, rocking a new sexy pirate look and one crazy story for the books… pretty fun! #blessedandgrateful #outofcommission #piratelife”
Morgan didn’t go into details, but her comment about it being a crazy story suggests this was a bit of a freak accident. The Young and the Restless star naturally had a large bandage on her eye following this emergency surgery – hence all the talk about it being a “sexy pirate look.”
Morgan had a smile on her face in one of the photos she shared, so she seems to be in good spirits despite this unfortunate setback. Sometimes things happen and you just have to keep moving forward!
Y&R fans are certainly wishing Morgan a speedy recovery, so hopefully her vision will be fully restored and this procedure will leave her as good as new. There’s no word on how Morgan’s airtime and upcoming appearances might be affected, but we’ll pass along more news as it comes in.
As for what’s next in GC, The Young and the Restless spoilers say some great Amanda content is ahead for the week of March 22-26. Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) will seek out Amanda for help dealing with a crisis her family is facing.
It could be a tough call for Amanda as she hears Naya’s plea and considers how to handle it. Getting mixed up in all the mayhem of Naya’s family may not seem all that appealing on the surface, but Amanda has a good heart and should pitch in eventually.
