The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, April 19 Recap – Victor’s Bribery – Imani Warns Amanda – Billy’s Flowers for Victoria

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, April 19, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will enter Crimson Lights with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who’ll learn Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) still hasn’t signed the final purchase contract yet.

Nikki will also notice the flower Victoria’s wearing in her lapel, so Victoria will admit Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) sent her a bouquet.

When Nikki assumes Billy is buttering Victoria up so she won’t use Cyaxares against ChancComm, Victoria will think that’s cynical. She’ll argue that Billy is simply being sweet and supportive.

Soon after, Victoria will get a text from Ashland about meeting in person to negotiate some last details. Since there’s nothing left to negotiate, Victoria will assume Ashland is either stalling or playing games.

Victoria will admit she’s intrigued and will mull over what Ashland’s angle is. She’ll admit to Nikki that she expects Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is tangled up in this and wants to teach her a lesson.

At ChancComm, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) won’t exactly be thrilled over the news that Billy sent his ex flowers! Billy will insist it was a benign bouquet. He won’t think Victoria’s going to get the wrong idea and will maintain that Victoria was embarrassed when she blurted out that love profession.

Lily will still seem uneasy since they both know what Victoria is capable of when she wants something.

Afterward, Billy and Lily will bump into Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at The Grand Phoenix. Lily will try to stop Billy from taunting Victor about hiding Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but he’ll do it anyway.

Billy will wonder why Victor always enables Adam, but he won’t really mind since it increases the likelihood that Victor will go down for aiding and abetting.

Billy will also gloat on Victoria’s behalf and will be glad she’s not going to use Cyaxares as a weapon like Victor intended. Victor will tell “Billy Boy” that he shouldn’t be so sure!

On the topic of Adam, Victor will assure Billy that the truth will come out – and that this is far from over.

Back at the coffeehouse, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will seem glum as she spots Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) in a warm moment.

Elena will bump into Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and offer updates on Devon seemingly working things out with Amanda.

It’ll be hard for Elena, who’ll wish she could’ve found a way forward with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), too. Suddenly, Nate will appear, so he’ll end up joining Elena and Lola at a table on the patio.

Elena will mention Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) potentially doing some work at the clinic, but Nate won’t think that’s going to be possible now.

Nate will point out that Moses will already be volunteering at the hospital and doing his schoolwork. Since Nate also set Moses up with an internship for ChancComm, he won’t want to set the kid up to fail by having him take on too much.

Elena will act like she understands, but she’ll seem to think this is more about her than anything.

After Elena takes off, Lola will push Nate to tell her why he can’t work things out with Elena. Nate will insist that drama isn’t romantic to him. He’ll want a relationship without secrets where two people bring out the best in each other.

Nate had that with his deceased love, Carolyn, but he won’t be sure he can get it back with anyone else. Lola will be confident that Nate can indeed find what he wants.

At Society, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will congratulate Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) on the news of Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) pregnancy.

Abby will excitedly step away to take a call from Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), so that’ll give Jack a chance to talk with Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) alone.

Jack will bring up Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) preparing for marriage and he’ll assume children will follow soon after. He’ll hope he’s properly prepared Kyle, but Nina will suggest parents just do the best they can and launch their kids out in the world.

After Abby returns, The Young and the Restless spoilers say she’ll gush about how thrilled Chance was over the pregnancy news. Abby will feel like they’re really on the same page and will seem overjoyed.

However, Abby will let her guard down with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) later. She’ll get teary since it was like she came crashing down all over again after Chance’s call.

Abby will admit she’s trying to stay upbeat for Mariah and Nina since they’re doing so much for her. She’ll be glad she can be herself with Devon, who’ll think it’s normal for Abby to blow off steam.

Abby will just hate that everything feels so uncertain with Chance’s situation, but she’ll dry her tears and end the conversation on a positive note.

At the Chancellor mansion, Mariah will battle a serious case of morning sickness. She’ll be frustrated over the experience being worse than she thought and lasting well past morning. Mariah will run to the bathroom to throw up since the smell of her moisturizer will suddenly bother her.

Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will be the perfect supportive girlfriend and will offer to replace all Mariah’s favorite products with fragrance-free versions. She’ll bring Mariah a sunflower and move her to tears with a sweet song about how even things lost to the ocean meet the shore.

Back with Ashland on Monday’s Y&R episode, he’ll send Victor a text about how they may still be able to do business if the offer is upped. Ashland will want to meet face to face to discuss it.

When Billy returns to ChancComm with Lily and pitches another Adam story, Lily will insist she’s only on board if Billy’s willing to stay out of it.

Next, Amanda will be all set to defend Sutton Ames (Jack Landron), who’s been arraigned and is facing the official charge of conspiracy to commit murder. At Society, Amanda will meet with Sutton as well as Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey).

Amanda will reiterate that she wants to keep their family connection a secret until after the jury reaches a verdict.

Amanda will explain that her strategy is to shift blame away from Sutton in the case of the brake tampering. She’ll think she has to convince a jury that someone else resorted to killing the whistleblower, but she’ll wonder why someone would go to such extreme lengths to cover up a white-collar crime.

Amanda will admit that there may be more to the story. She’ll consider that maybe Richard Nealon found out about the arrangement between Sutton and some Newman executive.

Amanda will suggest that Richard might’ve wanted to blackmail this person, which would provide more motive. It’ll make it seem far more likely that someone at Newman wanted Richard taken out.

Sutton will note that Amanda will be portraying her father as greedy, but Amanda will counter that she’s dealing with the facts and doing what’s best for the case. She’ll even admit she found out Richard had massive student loan debt.

Sutton will also bring up Victor, who’s not the kind of man you want to have as an enemy. Amanda won’t be scared and will add that Victor’s history of commercial bribery can work in their favor. She’ll insist that Victor pled guilty to this crime back in 2004.

Sutton will seem impressed by everything he’s heard, so he’ll invite Amanda to come meet the rest of the family this weekend at their home. Amanda will accept the offer, so Naya will be tickled pink.

Later, Amanda will find Devon at The Grand Phoenix. She’ll admit her meeting went well, but she’ll be unsettled over a text from Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) that says this will only end badly for Amanda.

The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Amanda’s already in over her head, but there’s much more chaos to come! CDL’s where you want to be for terrific Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so make us your top Y&R source.
