The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, December 27 Update – Chelsea’s Contract Demand – Sharon’s Surprise Offer

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, December 27, teases that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will make a contract demand to be Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) boss. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will also make a surprise offer to Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), so there’ll be some big things happening in Monday’s Y&R show.

At Society, Chelsea will catch up with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), who’ll think forgiveness is possible for Chelsea around town.

If anyone gives Chelsea trouble, Abby will insist Chelsea should let her know!

Abby will be protective of Chelsea and hopeful about her reunion with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but Chelsea will downplay her chances.

Next, Chelsea will drop a hint about not really being in sync with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) when it comes to Sally.

Although Chelsea will think Sally is smart and ambitious, she’ll also think Sally is a handful and very competitive.

Chelsea will fill Chloe in on Sally’s attempt to one-up her during their recent encounter. She’ll also call out Sally’s desire to make an impression on Adam and feel like she has to make something clear.

“In order for me to be able to work with Sally, I’m going to have to be the boss…and I’m going to need it in my contract,” Chelsea will confirm to Chloe.

When Adam spots Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) at Crimson Lights, he’ll address the tension between them before Chance’s mission began.

Adam will seem keen on winning Chance’s trust again and perhaps rebuilding this friendship.

Despite Adam’s questions, Chance won’t be ready to get into the details of what happened in Spain.

Chance’s goal will be to get to know Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor and make up for lost time.

Adam will suggest Chance can connect with Dominic through feeding him, changing him, giving him a bath, etc.

Adam will feel like just being there for Dominic on a daily basis will form the bond Chance is seeking, but Chance won’t think it’s that simple.

After Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) informs Sharon that she’ll be moving out of the apartment above the coffeehouse, she’ll reveal that she’s moving in with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Sharon will stress the importance of creating a work-free zone and adding some personal touches to make it Elena’s place, too.

Over with Nate, he’ll stop by Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse and have a Dominic discussion with him.

Devon will argue that he went into this situation with his eyes wide open, but Nate will think things have changed since Devon first made the sperm donor agreement.

Devon couldn’t have known he’d help bring Dominic into the world and take care of him while Abby was off searching for Chance.

Nate will think Devon’s entitled to more time with Dominic and will advise working something out that’s official.

When Chance finds Abby finishing a work call at Society, he’ll offer to take Dominic home on his own.

Abby will seem a little nervous about it, but Chance will act like it’s going to be fine. Unfortunately, fussy Dominic will leave Chance struggling later.

Dominic will refuse to take his bottle and won’t stop crying, so Chance will fear he might be sick.

Chance will convey his concerns once Devon arrives, but Devon will think it’s just a matter of Dom being tired.

Chance will ask for some tricks to settle Dominic down, but Devon won’t have anything specific.

Devon will take Dominic in his arms instead and soothe him as Abby walks in looking worried.

At The Grand Phoenix, Sally will spot Tessa and make a blatant effort to befriend her.

Sally will try to play up their similar shady pasts and connect their work as artists. Tessa won’t be overly enthusiastic about the conversation, but she’ll at least be polite.

Sally will hint that maybe they could join forces on a new wardrobe for Tessa’s tour, but Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will walk over and cut their conversation short.

Despite Noah’s concerns about Sally being a troublemaker, Tessa will point out that Sally spent Christmas all alone. She’ll feel sorry for Sally as someone who’s been in her same shunned shoes before.

After Tessa approves Noah’s latest work for her album cover, talk will turn to how much Tessa loves Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and how they’re planning to have their own baby.

Noah’s eyes will bug out at the admission, but he’ll plaster on a smile and pretend he’s happy about Tessa’s perfect romance.

At Newman Media, Adam will quiz Chelsea about the significance of the lake house painting she gave him for Christmas.

Chelsea will act like it was just about remembering happier times before Sharon and will ask if Adam misses those days as well.

Noah will inadvertently barge in and derail the conversation for a moment, but Chelsea and Adam will revisit the painting discussion soon after.

Adam will remind Chelsea that they can’t go back to the past. They’ll focus on Connor as Chelsea gleefully pushes for more family time – and nearby, Sally will listen in.

Back with Tessa, she’ll be blown away when Sharon offers up the apartment above the coffeehouse.

Tessa will get on the phone with Mariah to make sure they’re on the same page before officially accepting their new home.

After Tessa reflects on becoming part of Sharon’s family and how wonderful it is, she’ll get emotional.

Sharon will seem touched over Tessa’s reaction as she goes in for a hug.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah and Tessa will move in their new apartment soon, so that’ll be the next step toward starting their family.
