The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, February 1, tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have to face the reality of their ice storm passion. After making love the night before, Elena will battle plenty of regrets in the morning.
Sleeping with Devon was something Elena wanted in that moment – and clearly Devon wanted it, too. Even so, it seems Elena will be pretty horrified when she realizes she’s betrayed Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Elena will probably feel like a serial cheater who just goes around breaking good guys’ hearts!
Elena will get dressed in a hurry and try to bolt from the penthouse, but Devon will stop her. Y&R spoilers say Devon will address their night together, but Elena will hope to forget it. Just like after what happened at the clinic with Nate, Elena will apparently think they should sweep this under the rug and never speak of it again.
Whether Devon and Elena actually make a verbal agreement on Monday or not, they’ll indeed keep their encounter a secret from Nate and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Amanda may not be Devon’s girlfriend, but she’s clearly crushing hard and would feel like a rebound if she found out about this.
Likewise, Elena won’t want to devastate Nate, so this night of passion will be buried for the time being. Later, Devon may squirm a bit as he meets with Nate to discuss a family situation – most likely Moses Winters’ upcoming return to Genoa City.
Devon should be a little uncomfortable, especially if Nate talks about how happy he is that they’ve all moved on from the cheating drama. Nate may insist he’s happy to be on the road to reconciliation, but Nate won’t realize Devon just slept with Elena behind his back!
Over with Gloria Fisher-Bardwell (Judith Chapman), she’ll make another pitch to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman). Lauren gently rejected Gloria’s push for a job at Fenmore’s, but it seems Gloria won’t take no for an answer.
On Monday, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Gloria will make a strong case for why Lauren should help her get a fresh start. It sounds like Gloria will wear Lauren down, so Gloria should be part of the shakeups Lauren has planned for Fenmore’s in the week ahead.
In the meantime, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will drop an ultimatum on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). We know that Victor will seek answers about Victoria and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) connection next week.
It’s possible Victor will disapprove of Victoria getting too close to Billy again, so he might use this ultimatum as a hindrance.
On the other hand, Victor may deliver this ultimatum regarding some Newman business. Since Victor has eyes and ears everywhere, he might already know Victoria tried to hide the embezzlement mess from her father.
Regardless, Victoria will listen to Victor’s new demands and decide how she’ll handle them one way or another. We’ll offer updates as other Y&R news rolls in.
