The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 25, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be deeply troubled by Dr. Lena Cavett’s (Dana Sparks) latest news.
On Friday’s Y&R episode, Dr. Cavett suggests that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may be suffering from a psychological distress, which often manifests in the form of depression.
Dr. Cavett has seen this in many patients before and knows it can slow the recovery of motor and language skills. She suggests bringing a psychologist in to help with Chelsea’s emotional wellbeing, but Adam seems to have a different idea after he texts Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to set up a meeting.
On Monday, it looks like Adam will indeed meet up with Nate and pitch this idea of his. Will Adam trust Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to consult on this case more than some stranger?
It would be a terrible idea to rile Chelsea up even further by having Sharon serve in a therapist’s capacity, but this is Adam we’re talking about – and Adam makes bad decisions!
Whatever the case, Chelsea will continue to believe the worst when it comes to Adam and Sharon’s bond. Chelsea will move a finger slightly after her imagination creates another hot scene between Adam and his ex.
The problem is Chelsea will become more and more emotionally distraught, and that’s not good for her either.
Back with Nate, there’ll be another meeting to tackle on Monday’s Y&R episode. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate will catch up with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), so this discussion may be both professional and personal.
Nate will need to look over his contract to be the Ask MD Now spokesperson, but he’ll trust that Amanda’s been fair as usual.
Naturally, the topic of Amanda and Nate’s love interests should come up. Nate may question how things are going between Amanda and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). That could lead Amanda to admit Devon asked her on a real date.
Nate will be remorseful about basically ghosting Amanda and letting her down when they were in their own romance. He’ll truly hope Amanda and Devon find happiness together – just like the happiness Nate believes he’s starting to find with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy).
Sadly, Nate’s the only one with genuine feelings in his relationship – and Elena will confess that to Devon later this week.
Until then, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will point Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) down the right path.
There may be some confusion about where Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) is at when it comes time to pick her up from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). It might be Nikki who updates Victoria on Katie’s trip to Chancellor Communications with Daddy.
Although this might be a little fast, Billy will really want Katie to hang out with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and enjoy some girl time. Katie will love it, but Victoria won’t!
Victoria will call Billy and realize he’s already letting Katie connect with Lily, so she’ll will fume and prepare to set boundaries.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy and Victoria will have some issues to work out in the week ahead, so stay tuned for more Y&R drama.
