The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, March 15, teases that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will try to undo her love confession mistake. At Newman Enterprises, Victoria won’t deny that she meant what she said.
However, she’ll insist she shouldn’t have mentioned it. Victoria won’t expect Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to return that love and will just want him to forget it.
That said, Victoria will point out that she cares about Billy and wants what’s best for him.
Although Victoria will want to pretend this conversation never happened, Billy will argue that he can’t do that. In the end, Victoria will push Billy to just go – and he’ll indeed leave her office looking pensive.
At Chancellor Communications, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will arrive with updates from her trip to New York. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will admit Billy isn’t there, though she’ll have a pretty good idea of where he is.
That’ll lead to Lily complaining about Victoria trying to worm her way into Billy’s life again. It’s like Victoria’s trying to stay on Billy’s mind – and it’s working.
Lily will feel like there’s an unshakeable bond between Victoria and Billy. There’s more than just coparenting going on in Lily’s opinion – at least on Victoria’s end.
Traci will think it’s natural for both women to feel threatened in this situation. Since Billy keeps downplaying everything, Traci will push Lily to focus on honesty and communication.
Once Billy returns, Traci will leave and let them talk. Lily will think they need to have a serious conversation about what’s really going on with Victoria. Billy will admit it’s more complicated than he though.
Billy will eventually come clean about Victoria admitting that she’s still in love with him. That’ll throw Lily for a loop. Lily was expecting Victoria to have feelings, but “in love” is next level.
Billy will argue that Victoria was embarrassed and doesn’t intend to act on this, but Lily won’t seem so certain. Billy won’t think it matters anyway since he loves Lily.
Billy will promise that nothing will come between them, but Lily will think part of the reason Billy felt the need to run down there and declare his love for her is that he’s not sure.
Lily will bring up everything she went through with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and suggest that Billy needs to do some soul-searching. Billy will assure Lily that his heart belongs to her, but she’ll think he needs to figure out how he really feels before they get any deeper.
At the penthouse, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will toot his own horn about the pitch for Cyaxares. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will complain in her own mind about Adam needing Daddy’s approval again.
Chelsea will think to herself that she never replaced Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) in Adam’s heart and isn’t going to try anymore.
Once Dr. Lena Cavett (Dana Sparks) arrives for their therapy session, Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will realize it’s showtime.
If anyone’s going to be able to figure out she’s faking, it’s her doctor. Chelsea will know she can’t make a mistake or her plot will be over.
At the cottage, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will stop Sharon from calling an ambulance and blame his illness on some bug, the flu or perhaps something he ate. Sharon will worry it’s more since Rey blacked out.
Rey will seem surprised that Sharon’s worried, but he’ll insist that Rey’s her husband and she loves him.
After Sharon apologizes for their disagreement earlier, she’ll agree to pick up some of Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) famous chicken soup at Rey’s request.
In the kitchen at Society, Lola will get the news that Rey’s feeling under the weather and needs her chicken soup elixir. Sharon will thank Lola for helping out with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) and the photo scandal.
Sharon will assume Lola has a lot to say about what’s happening in her marriage, but Lola will be more concerned about what’s happening between Sharon and Adam.
Lola will note that she’s protective of her older brother, though she does believe Sharon loves Rey. It’s just that Lola doesn’t want to see Rey get hurt.
Sharon will acknowledge that things are complicated with Adam, but Lola will be rooting for them. After Lola learns about the rocky counseling session, she’ll think what matters is Sharon and Rey are putting in the effort.
After Sharon thanks Lola for being so understanding, she’ll take off while Lola stands there looking concerned for Rey.
As Sharon emerges from the kitchen, she’ll bump into Adam. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will once again insist that he wasn’t behind the missing items at Sharon’s house.
Adam will wonder if Sharon’s considered asking Rey like he suggested, but Sharon won’t think Rey’s that petty.
Adam will be mildly offended because Sharon clearly thinks he would be that petty. As Sharon tries to exit, Adam will ask how Faith’s doing.
Sharon will feel like Adam’s trying to push all her buttons, but he’ll counter that it’s like everything he says annoys her.
Sharon will contend that Adam messes up her life, even when he doesn’t intend to. Adam will keep trying to talk, but Sharon will tell him to save it and finally head for the door.
At The Grand Phoenix, Adam will arrive in the lobby after being summoned by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Nikki will be concerned about Adam’s “cozy new working relationship” with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Adam will argue that Victor matters to him as a father, especially considering the rest of his family turned their backs during Chelsea’s crisis.
Nikki will wonder what else Adam expected, so he’ll admit they had good reasons to turn their backs.
That said, Adam will appreciate Victor reaching out and giving him a purpose to explore. Nikki’s money will be on Victoria when it comes to the battle for Cyaxares.
As this meeting wraps up, Nikki will note that Adam has pulled the rug out from under Victor before.
Nikki will never trust Adam or forgive and forget the anguish he’s caused for her family. She won’t tolerate Adam wreaking any more havoc either.
Adam will wonder if that’s a threat, so Nikki will insist it’s a warning.
No matter how things play out with Cyaxares, Nikki will think Adam should stick to his original plan of leaving town with Chelsea once she’s well enough. Nikki will feel certain that Chelsea would agree.
Back in her office, Victoria will be distracted when Nikki walks in and tries to discuss a business deal. Nikki will find out Billy was there earlier, so she’ll wonder what exactly happened between the two of them.
Victoria will confess that she said more than she intended to say, but she won’t want Nikki’s sympathy and will argue that it’s a non-issue. Nikki will suggest that it’s OK for Victoria to look over her shoulder as long as she’s still going in the right direction.
At the penthouse again, Chelsea will pat herself on the back for fooling her doctor.
In a moment alone, Chelsea will swipe Adam’s tablet off the table and text Sharon with it. “I can’t stop thinking of you. What I wouldn’t do for us to be free,” Chelsea will type as if it’s from Adam.
Over with Sharon, she’ll seem unsettled as she receives that text. When Rey suddenly appears, he’ll think Sharon looks upset. Sharon will blame it on how she’s been worried about Rey, who looks paler to her.
Rey will admit that he’s dealing with body aches, chills and is feverish. Later, Rey will seem to be getting worse by the second under a blanket. Sharon will fear something might be seriously wrong.
As Adam comes home to Chelsea, she’ll hurriedly put the tablet away and pretend she can’t move.
Adam will think maybe Chelsea needs another doctor who can help her make a speedier recovery. Chelsea will think to herself that it’ll all be over very soon and that she’ll no longer be Adam’s problem.
