The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, March 29, teases that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will welcome Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to the penthouse, where Chelsea will gush over Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) being on the run.
Chelsea will argue that Adam is finally out of her life and that her plan worked.
Chloe will pat herself on the pack for what a stellar job she did hiding those items in Adam’s car. Chelsea will mention that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) found the poison she planted upstairs, so Chloe will want her to hold up. Nobody said anything about poison!
Chelsea will argue that she had to make it a big enough crime to put Adam away for good. Adam can’t go chasing after Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) with attempted murder charges hanging over him.
Chelsea will insist that either the cops will find Adam or he’ll have to hide underground for a very long time.
Chloe will mention hearing that Rey was in the ICU, so she’ll rant that Rey could’ve died. Chelsea will insist that didn’t happen – that everything went like it was supposed to.
Chloe will remain upset about the risk to Rey as well as Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind). She’ll feel betrayed since Chelsea insisted no one else would be hurt.
Chloe will lash out since this could leave her locked up and away from her children. Chelsea will promise that Chloe’s kids aren’t going to lose their mom. She’ll feel completely confident that Adam is the only one who’ll face consequences, but Chloe won’t think Chelsea can be certain of anything.
Chelsea poisoned an innocent police detective and made Chloe an accessory to a major crime!
At the cottage, Sharon will contend that this is all so unbelievable. She’ll irk Rey by using terms like “if Adam did this” since he’ll think there’s plenty of evidence.
Rey will push Sharon to think about where Adam might be hiding, so she’ll suggest Kansas. Rey will shut that down since it’s too obvious and Adam would know not to go there.
After Rey decides he’ll find Adam himself, he’ll take off and wind up at Society. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will learn that there’s a warrant out for Adam’s arrest.
Victor will wonder on what grounds, so Rey will insist it’s attempted murder and will add that Victor’s looking at the victim.
That’ll lead Victor to suggest Rey is drumming up attempted murder charges against Adam to save his “fragile marriage.” Victor will argue that Adam’s been home taking care of the woman he loves, but Rey will insist Adam bailed on Chelsea and is on the run.
If Rey finds out Victor is hiding Adam, he’ll vow to charge Victor with aiding and abetting.
Victor will insist he can’t say where Adam is, so Rey will ask if Victor can’t or won’t. There’ll be some tense moments as Victor pushes Rey to find another suspect. As Victor gets up to leave, he’ll get menacing and warn that Rey should never threaten him again.
Victor will stop by the penthouse, so Chloe will instruct Chelsea to get back in her wheelchair. Once Chloe opens up, she’ll note that the nurse is on a break. Chloe will wonder if she can help Victor with something, but he’ll just want the nurse to get in touch when she gets back.
Victor will approach Chelsea and point out that Rey’s been spouting off all kinds of accusations. He’ll promise to take care of this and will acknowledge the love Chelsea and Adam share.
Victor will vow to bring Adam back to Chelsea and will push her not to worry. Chelsea will think to herself that even the great Victor Newman can’t put things back together again this time.
At the ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will notice the missing tequila and will head right over to Sharon’s place. Sharon will learn Faith was catfished and that Jordan was posing as her secret admirer.
When Sharon learns the tequila bottle is missing, she’ll panic and insist they have to find Faith.
Y&R spoilers say Sharon will leave a voicemail for her daughter – and Nick will do the same at The Grand Phoenix. Soon after, Sharon will summon Nick to help with the crisis at the cottage.
In the stables, Faith will see a flood of texts about what a lonely crybaby she is and how stupid she was for falling for Jordan’s trick. Faith will sob and reach for her tequila bottle nearby.
Once Rey catches up with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), they’ll fret over Victor potentially helping Adam make a getaway. However, the cops are checking the airfields to make sure Adam doesn’t get on a plane.
After Sharon calls, she’ll insist she’s scared and will reveal that Faith is missing. Adam will be the last thing on Sharon’s mind as she begs Rey to come home.
After Rey leaves, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will talk to Michael about Adam going off the rails again. Lauren will also get updates on Faith running away due to bullies, so she’ll regret that she was a bully once upon a time.
Michael and Lauren will be glad Fenmore “Fen” Baldwin (Zach Tinker) turned his own life around after being both a bully and a bullying victim.
At the cottage again, Sharon will leave Faith another worried voicemail before Victor walks in. Victor will admit his security team is on it, but there have been no Faith sightings yet.
Moments later, Victor will get a call about one of the ranch trucks going missing. One of the ranch hands saw a blonde girl behind the wheel.
Sharon will reel over Faith not even having her learner’s permit and driving in the dark after drinking. Nick installed a “Find My Kid” app on Faith’s phone, so he’ll track it – and Sharon will hop in the car with him to find their daughter.
Back at the penthouse, Chloe will worry about Victor spoiling Chelsea’s plan. Chelsea will think her scheme is foolproof and that she has an airtight alibi.
However, Chloe will fret about her own alibi. It’ll lead Chelsea to point out that Chloe is the wildcard here since she could rat her out.
Chloe will promise she’s not going to turn on Chelsea – that if Chelsea goes down, Chloe will go down, too. Nevertheless, Chloe will want to be fully informed moving forward. She’ll note that she didn’t want to cross the line with Adam plotting again and can’t be doing crazy things anymore.
Chelsea will understand and will be grateful to Chloe for having her back. Now it’s just a waiting game since Chelsea can’t make a miraculous recovery right now. Chelsea will think that if Adam’s smart, he’s found a country with no extradition and is on a plane headed far away.
At Crimson Lights, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will sneak in wearing a gray hoodie. He’ll duck back out when he sees Michael standing nearby.
Meanwhile, Rey will come home to find Victor and Nikki at the cottage. There’ll be more tension between Victor and Rey, but Victor will assure Nikki that Faith will be found.
In the car, Sharon will track Faith and give Nick the news that she’s just on the other side of the hill. Sharon will hope the app’s wrong, because it’ll say Faith is moving “really fast.”
As Faith drives in the truck, she’ll speed and pick up her phone after getting a notification. Faith will hurl the phone down and then look down to retrieve her tequila bottle. There’ll be blaring horns as an alarmed Faith starts to spin out of control – seemingly on the verge of crashing the truck.
