The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, May 31, teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will deal with wildcard Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) explodes over Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) paternity.
At the psychiatric facility, Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will pose a threat to her own plan with Victor. When Victor finds out Chelsea has been setting up meetings with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and asking him to return for visits, he surely won’t be pleased.
Victor may wonder what Chelsea thinks she’s doing and warn her not to play with fire. The less contact Chelsea has with Rey, the better off she’ll be. Chelsea still needs to keep selling the idea that she wasn’t in her right mind and deserves help, not punishment.
Rey isn’t completely convinced that Chelsea’s breakdown was the real deal – and Victor knows that. Victor will push Chelsea to just do what she’s told and trust that she’ll have her freedom in time.
However, freedom isn’t good enough for Chelsea, who obviously still wants revenge on Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and intends to manipulate Rey to get it!
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland will face a crushing blow. The results of Harrison’s paternity test will be in – and they’ll confirm that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is the boy’s father, not Ashland.
The news will be a relief to Kyle since he desperately wants to protect Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) spot in Harrison’s life. Kyle will be prepared to publicly claim paternity and fight for Harrison in a custody battle.
Nevertheless, first thing’s first! Ashland must be told, so he’ll be a mixture of devastated and absolutely livid with Tara for lying to him for over three years. Of course, we have to wonder if the DNA results will be legit!
There have been some huge hints about Tara’s shady side, so it’s possible these results will simply be the ones she secretly set up.
Regardless, Ashland should barge in the Abbott mansion after Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) updates and perhaps face the paternity shocker while he’s there.
In the meantime, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will worry Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) future with Kyle might be doomed!
How many more obstacles can Summer and Kyle’s romance take? Phyllis and Nick will worry that Summer’s reaching her limit when it comes to pain endurance.
There’ll be mutual concern about the next round of heartbreak, but all Nick and Phyllis will be able to do is watch it happen. Y&R fans won’t want to miss the curveballs that are in store for Kyle and Summer.
