The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, November 1 Update – Sally Calls Out Adam – Nick Spots Victor’s PI

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, November 1, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will call out Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for having multiple personalities whenever he interacts with her. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also spot Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) PI and grow increasingly concerned about what’s going on behind his back.

At the Chancellor mansion on Monday’s Y&R episode, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will feel like there must’ve been some mistake.

Abby will once again argue that she would feel it if Chance Chancellor (soon-to-be Connor Floyd) was dead, but she’ll eventually seem more willing to accept that her husband is gone.

After Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) fills her mom in via text, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will pay Abby a visit.

Victor will recall how Sharon helped Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) after her stabbing and will hope she can come through for Abby now.

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will point out Abby wanted to be alone and won’t be so sure Abby will be receptive to Sharon’s efforts. However, Ashley will invite Sharon to try – and that’ll lead to Sharon letting Abby know she’s there for her.

Sharon will understand if Abby isn’t ready to open up. She’ll talk to Abby about how everything she’s going through is a normal reaction to trauma.

Sharon will also offer encouragement since Abby is such a survivor, but it’ll be tough for Abby to wrap her head around moving forward without Chance.

At the coffeehouse, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will discuss how Abby’s world is crumbling around her.

It’ll be difficult for Tessa to imagine what that’s like, but she’ll fear she’s put her foot in her mouth since Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) went through a similar experience.

Devon will be understanding about the comment and will reflect on the complexity of grief in all its many forms. Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will fret over Abby’s struggles and the impact they could have on Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor.

Mariah will point out that people react to trauma in different ways and will seem quite concerned, but Tessa will offer reassurance.

At Society, Sally will be waiting for her to-go order at a table when Adam waltzes over. She’ll ask which personality she’ll get today and will suggest it’s an ever-changing landscape when it comes to Adam’s cast of characters.

Sally will keep her tone light as she teases Adam about his chronic mood swings and will urge him to have lunch with her – that way she can see which Adam she’s dealing with.

Adam will have to decline due to a business meeting, but he’ll confess that Sally would’ve been better company.

Sally will feel like Adam’s being rather mysterious about the VIP he’s set to meet up with. She’ll ask if this is about Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) and then wonder if she wasn’t supposed to bring his name up anymore.

Sally will also quiz Adam about when Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will return and whether she’ll join the Newman Media fashion team.

Adam won’t know when or if Chelsea will be up to working again, but he’ll suggest the sooner, the better.

Adam will then meet with Victor’s most trusted private investigator – and Nick will take notice when he shows up for lunch with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

That’ll lead to yet another fight since Nick will be obsessed with figuring out what Victor and Adam are up to.

Phyllis will give her usual “who cares” speech and push Nick to let it go, but there’ll be more friction when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) arrive.

It’ll lead to a tension-filled lunch that ends with Phyllis lying about a work emergency just so she can leave the restaurant.

Nick will also push Nikki to dig for Gaines details since she’s still in the inner Newman circle. Nikki will argue that’s all behind them now, but Nick won’t seem as certain.

Nick won’t want this Gaines situation turning into a bigger deal, so he’ll remind Nikki that Victoria’s future and well-being are at stake.

After Nick leaves, Nikki will grill Jack about the conflict they witnessed between Nick and Phyllis. Jack won’t be keen on sharing what he knows, but he’ll be optimistic about Phyllis and Nick working through their issues.

When Nick joins Phyllis back at the hotel, she’ll talk about how she knew what she was getting herself into when she reunited with him.

Phyllis knew Nick’s family history was part of the package, but the whole thing WAS worth it – emphasis on the past tense!

“You’re right. It was,” Nick will reply. Phyllis will suggest that they’re kidding themselves and just won’t think their relationship is going to work any longer.

Back with Sally, she’ll head to Adam’s office and explain there’s been a bit of an issue. Sally will note that somebody got ahold of some Tuscany pics, so they were published in the National Inquisitor and are being used to suggest they’re an item.

Adam will get a call from Chelsea soon after and assume word traveled fast, but he’ll decide to delay dealing with his ex’s drama and decline to take it. As other Y&R news comes in, we’ll provide more updates.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Sally should head into steamier territory eventually, so Chelsea’s possessiveness will be a problem!
