The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, November 22, teases that Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will spill a secret to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) essentially tells Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) he should be a new dad to Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor.
At the cottage on Monday’s Y&R episode, Noah won’t hear Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) calling his name, but he’ll act like he just zoned out for a bit. Sharon will point out that’s been happening a lot lately, but Noah won’t want his mom to worry and will head out for a run.
Later, Faith will promise not to tell anyone if Noah wants to open up to her. She’ll feel like it might stop Sharon’s nagging if Noah at least confides in someone else.
Noah will admit to falling hard for another artist in London and getting hurt pretty bad when she left. He’ll discuss how things turned sour when Noah achieved faster success than his girlfriend.
Noah will assume she resented him for it and will talk about how she felt patronized when he tried to reassure her.
Their fights got ugly and left Noah wanting to escape the negativity in London. After Noah suggests he’s just trying not to repeat the same mistakes, Faith will urge him to hit the showers and tag along with her to the coffeehouse.
Next, Sharon will notice Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) connecting on the Crimson Lights patio.
After Jack updates Phyllis on his Spain flight and grabs some grub, Sharon will needle Phyllis about her bond with Jack and cause drama by analyzing her reaction.
Phyllis will lash out over Sharon poking her nose where it doesn’t belong and will insist Jack is just a friend – just like Sharon is a friend to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Even so, Sharon will act like Phyllis’ connection to Jack may have had something to do with her split from Nick.
At the ranch, Victor will decide he should come along with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) on the flight to Spain, but she’ll talk him out of it with Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) help.
Soon after, Victor will arrive at Devon’s penthouse while he’s discussing the latest Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) drama with Nick.
Nick will be rather rude to Victor, so Devon will sense that things aren’t going well between them.
In a moment alone, Victor will reflect on how Nick thinks he manipulates his children and pits them against each other.
After insisting that’s not the case, Victor will talk about how a good father always wants to protect his children.
Devon will admit he doesn’t have guidance to offer since he’s not a father himself. However, Victor will feel like Devon’s going to learn as Dominic gets older.
Victor will point out that Dominic is going to need a strong father figure in his life and will be pleased when Devon seems receptive to taking on that role.
Nick will arrive at Crimson Lights in time to catch the end of Phyllis and Sharon’s confrontation, but he won’t want to discuss it with Sharon after Phyllis leaves.
Sharon will suggest discussing Noah instead, but Nick will feel like it’s OK if Noah needs to work through some stuff on his own.
After Noah and Faith join Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) at a table, they’ll all chat before Faith goes to grab some blondies and brownies from the counter.
Faith will step aside to reassure her parents that Noah’s fine, so Nick and Sharon will seem proud that she’s grown up enough to serve as a sounding board.
Meanwhile, Noah will be glad he doesn’t have to put up any kind of front with Tessa.
They’ll share a warm moment before Tessa hands Noah her phone and encourages him to make a funny video to send Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Faith will look over and seem glad Noah’s spirits have been lifted.
In Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) office, he’ll talk to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) about being an on-camera personality since she’s become so popular online.
Sally will jokingly suggest she’s more of an introvert who likes to be behind the scenes, but she’ll quickly assure Adam she would love the gig.
Sally will also mention that she’s been thinking about what Adam said in Tuscany – about how he wasn’t ready for a relationship. At that time, Sally was still holding out hope that Adam might move on with her someday.
Now Sally will suggest she’s given up on seeing Adam outside of work and intends to concentrate on her career.
Sally will keep things professional as she officially friend-zones Adam – and he won’t look too happy about that after she exits his office.
When Victor arrives with news of Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) proposal, Adam won’t see why they’d go through all this hard work just for the sake of embarrassing Billy.
From where Adam’s standing, it won’t be enough to just humiliate Billy with a public resignation.
Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will eavesdrop for a moment before entering Adam’s office and inquiring about the Newman men’s plans. He’ll be fine with whatever Victor and Adam decide.
Victor will contend that they’ll proceed by making Billy think they’ve accepted his proposition. Once Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) takes over, Adam will assume she’ll give up or Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will put ChancComm up for sale.
Victor will suggest Billy won’t know what hit him when they scoop it up at a cheap price anyway.
As for Jack, he’ll talk to Ashley on the plane about hitting pause on his personal life and focusing on Abby.
Ashley will appreciate having Jack by her side on this Abby search.
Victor will encourage Ashley to be safe during a phone call and will hope she can indeed bring Abby back to Genoa City.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby and Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) reunion will throw plenty of GC residents for a loop soon enough.
