The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 18, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will go for a shocking Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) strategy – and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be torn over the outcome. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also agonize over a choice they’ll need to make fast.
Monday’s Y&R episode will bring another showdown between Victor and Gaines, who defied orders and is still trying to blow up Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) secrets.
Victor doesn’t take kindly to people who think they can make their own rules! He’ll make that crystal clear to Gaines as he handles him like only Victor can do.
The problem is Gaines will have a video that’s ready and waiting to be released to the world.
Gaines wants to make sure everyone knows what a lying, stealing fraud Ashland is – but Billy will have first dibs on the story before it goes global.
However, Victoria might never forgive Billy if he went public with something like that at ChancComm. Talk about the ultimate betrayal!
Lily may convince Billy that no matter what happens with that video next, they can’t be associated with it.
Although publishing first would give Billy an opportunity to play spin doctor, it’s just too risky under the circumstances. Billy doesn’t need to do anything else that might damage his relationship with the mother of his children.
It’s a good thing Billy and Lily seem poised to turn down Gaines’ offer.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will deliver a surprising wedding present to Ashland and Victoria.
Since Victor already offered the palazzo, this “gift” may be one that makes Gaines go away permanently.
Nick will inevitably feel conflicted since part of him will be relieved for the merger’s sake and part of him will wish Ashland would’ve been taken down.
Nick will be frustrated with Victor, who insists on bending over backwards to give criminal Ashland chance after chance.
However, protecting Victoria is what matters most to Victor, so he’ll push Nick to understand and accept that.
Nick will try to bounce back after this draining confrontation, but his relationship will remain contentious.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will feel like nothing she does is right anymore, so this couple could be crumbling.
