The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, October 4 Recap – Ashland’s Stolen Inheritance – Victoria’s Inflight Gaines’ Story

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, October 4, teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will follow a stolen inheritance trail while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) vows to offer the Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) truth – but only after the flight to Tuscany.

At Society on Monday’s Y&R episode, Billy will spot Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and grill him about the trip to New Jersey.

Nick won’t think they have the same motives when it comes to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and will refuse to offer up any info – though Billy will assume whatever Nick found wasn’t good.

In the hotel suite Ashland booked, Victoria will talk about being married to a habitual gambler before. Billy was a master at lying to her face, but she thought Ashland was different.

Victoria will feel like it’s unsettling being lied to repeatedly and will wonder if there’s something else Ashland will only admit once he’s backed into a corner.

Ashland will want to ease Victoria’s mind, so she’ll push for the whole truth. Victoria will think Ashland can start with Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) and the real reason he came to town.

Ashland will agree to tell Victoria the unvarnished truth, but he’ll want to take his jet to Tuscany tonight, enjoy the private flight and explain far away from Genoa City.

Ashland will hope Victoria hasn’t stopped loving him, so Victoria will insist he’s gotten inside her heart. She’ll assure Ashland that’s not something you can get rid of so easily, so he’ll be happy to hear that.

Victoria will also decide that perhaps Ashland is right – that a flight to Italy could get them away from all the interference and help them figure things out.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place, he’ll play poker with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Amanda will feel like this is the perfect way to wind down after her earlier trip to the ER with Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey).

Soon after, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will call for help since she won’t be able to calm Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor down.

Amanda will assure Devon it’s fine for him to go and will seem genuinely supportive.

Afterward, Amanda will head to The Grand Phoenix and catch up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Phyllis will congratulate Amanda on moving in with Devon, but she’ll seem uneasy when she learns Abby summoned Devon to help with the baby.

At the Chancellor mansion, Devon will also struggle to calm Dominic down. He’ll guess he’s lost his magic touch, but Abby will contend that Dominic’s cry seems different.

Devon and Abby will agree that Dominic is sniffly and a bit warm. However, Abby won’t know what to do since Dominic’s temperature keeps coming back normal.

Devon will think they should call the pediatrician anyway, so Abby will make that call and get a saline drop recommendation.

Since Dominic will finally settle down in Devon’s arms, Abby will ask him to stay with the baby while she goes out for the drops.

In a sweet bonding moment, Devon will tell the baby that he’s got an army of people who love him. He’ll add that he’s always going to be there for Dominic and will seem like he’s on cloud nine.

After Devon calls Amanda to offer updates, Amanda will fill Phyllis in as well.

Phyllis will mention how Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) helped bring Summer Newman (Hunter King) into the world and has a special bond with her.

Amanda will get the feeling that Phyllis is trying to warn her, but she won’t think this whole baby thing is going to cause problems.

Amanda will make it clear that she supports Devon spending time with Dominic and feels it enriches his life.

Talk will turn to Phyllis’ failed marriage to Jack, but she won’t be keen on discussing it in her hotel lobby.

Phyllis and Amanda will head to Society, where Billy will basically crash their intimate conversation.

Once Phyllis steps away to take a call, Billy will pick Amanda’s brain about a legal issue. He’ll talk about following the money trail of a 20-year-old who came into a huge influx of money – possibly due to the inheritance of someone he barely knew.

Amanda will admit it’s possible this person formed a connection and truly received the inheritance, but she’ll think that’s pretty rare.

Billy will ask how difficult it would be to change a will when someone’s already passed away.

Amanda will think the attorney who drew up the will in the first place would be in the best position to do that. She’ll add that the attorney would risk disbarment and possible jail time.

Amanda will suggest another way is if someone comes forward with a document claiming the deceased changed his or her mind.

Phyllis will be a bit suspicious of Amanda and Billy’s conversation when she returns, but Billy will end up heading out.

That’ll leave Phyllis to confide in Amanda about how her romance with Billy destroyed Jack.

Phyllis will always have regrets about that. She’ll talk about so much happening in her relationship with Jack and will feel like he’s someone she’ll always hold close to her heart.

Once Abby returns to the mansion, she’ll give Dominic the drops and earn a high five from Devon. Abby will promise not to call every time there’s an issue, but Devon really won’t mind.

They’ll discuss Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) still needing time to heal, but Abby will feel like waiting is hard. That goes for waiting on Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) to come home, too.

Devon will assure Abby that Chance can make a lifetime of memories once he gets back. Later, Devon will fall asleep with his arm draped over the bassinet. Abby will let out a content sigh and smile at the sight of them together.

Back at The Grand Phoenix, Victoria will bump into Nick and refuse to sit down for a conversation. She’ll rant about Nick betraying her, but he’ll defend his desire to protect her.

Nick will wonder if Victoria has even more doubts now, but Ashland will get off the elevator and interrupt.

Once Victoria says they’re flying to Tuscany tonight, she’ll remind Nick that he’s not invited to the wedding.

Victoria will sashay out the door, so Nick will ask “how the hell” Ashland pulled this off. Ashland will act like Victoria is far more forgiving and open-minded than Nick is.

Nick will start to leave, but Ashland won’t think they’re finished yet. He’ll talk about Nick uncovering the most painful event of his life and will want to move forward.

Ashland will feel like if Nick has any decency or compassion in him, then he’ll keep what he knows to himself.

While Victoria gazes pensively at the portrait in her office, Billy will be on the phone at ChancComm. He’ll want to know if Ashland pulled off something shady after Camilla Rhodes died and was able to get his hands on her money.

At Crimson Lights, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will overhear Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) on the phone.

Sally will mention paying whatever it costs to get the wedding at supersonic speed, so Adam will suggest he’s taking a gamble since he’s footing the bill.

Sally will think it’s an investment instead and will feel certain Victoria’s going to fall in love with this dress.

Adam will have his doubts that Victoria will even look at it – at least if she knows it came from Sally. He’ll also wonder if Sally is really going to fly to Tuscany if the dress isn’t ready in time.

Sally will argue that she’ll do whatever it takes, but Adam will think she’s playing with fire.

Nevertheless, Sally will think Adam likes that and will insist on following the advice of her namesake. She’ll want to “carpe the damn diem” by giving Victoria her dream dress and creating huge buzz for the fashion platform.

Adam will admit that when Sally sets her mind to something, she really commits. “You have no idea,” Sally will reply with a smirk.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will show off her determination as this storyline continues, so stay tuned.
