The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) may expose Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) treatment trick and ultimately discover this Peru miracle cure is a scam. Nate could find himself in the prime position to figure out something isn’t right and fill Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) in on the truth.
Nate and Ashland’s friendship has always been rather forced and odd. Y&R fans will recall how Ashland made Nate his best man without even really knowing him, so maybe the show shoved them together for the sake of the plot.
Since then, Nate has indeed become more of a pal to Ashland. He’s also a friend to Victoria, so he gladly reviewed the info on this experimental treatment in Peru and reported back.
Nate didn’t have high hopes for this treatment option and truly felt it’d be a long shot, so he was pleasantly surprised to hear Ashland got some positive results.
Once Nate gets even more, he may take a closer look at this miraculous treatment in Peru and wonder why Ashland’s responding so well to it.
Nate might do some digging and look for any new ideas that might be coming down the line for the hospital.
Since this Peruvian treatment will seem so great, there’s the potential for Nate to follow up on his initial research and uncover some discrepancies.
Nate might begin to suspect Ashland – or at least someone who works for him – has been lying about the supposedly amazing results in Peru.
Perhaps Nate will then ask himself why Ashland would lie and what else he might be hiding.
Is that why the writers went to the trouble of making Nate an instant buddy for Ashland? Will Nate find some clues that add up to Ashland being a total liar?
Nate might land in a tight spot since he wouldn’t want to break Victoria’s heart, but he’d also feel like she deserved the truth.
Some medical drama will indeed distract Nate from his relationship in 2020, so finding out Ashland’s scam and exposing it could be what Y&R has in store. We’ll offer updates as other news becomes available.
