The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will reach her breaking point, so Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will feel like they’re fighting a losing battle. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will also connect through some similar problems, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
During the week of October 25-29, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will feel like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is being impossible. Phyllis won’t know how she’s supposed to support Nick when he complains about every negative word she says about his family.
Nick’s allowed to grumble since he was born into the complex Newman clan, but he’ll remain upset with Phyllis when she dares to speak ill of them.
Of course, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) warned Phyllis about bad-mouthing and pushed her to give Nick the space he needs.
Jack will give Phyllis advice again, so it may involve some similar words of wisdom.
Phyllis will take Jack’s guidance to heart, but she’ll still end up fighting with Nick repeatedly. Y&R fans will see Phyllis deliver the harsh reality of the situation, but Nick isn’t going to like what he hears.
As for Abby, she’ll ignore the evidence pointing to Chance Chancellor’s (last played by Donny Boaz) death. Abby will feel like in her heart, she’d know if Chance were gone forever.
Devon and the rest of Abby’s support system will prove helpful as Abby waits for more information. Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will eventually offer up some photos that are presumably from the site where the bomb exploded.
Abby’s world will crumble even further over one particular picture, so she’ll collapse as she struggles with her emotions.
Speaking of struggling with emotions, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will do that as well. Amanda will be choked up over her father’s fate and will agree to bring Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) down by testifying at his trial.
Nevertheless, Amanda will make another painful choice later, so that could mean she’ll bow out of getting on the stand.
If Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) don’t approve, Amanda might opt out for the sake of preserving her new family relationships.
Regardless, Amanda will deal with all that legal drama while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) turns to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) for help sinking Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
What Billy won’t realize is this Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) is a trap – one that Victor will use as part of his ChancComm destruction plot.
Victor will join forces with Adam and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) as they work to make Billy pay the price for his actions.
Ashland will also seek the latest info on his condition before asking Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) for a second opinion. It doesn’t sound like Ashland’s outlook will improve following his latest round of chemotherapy.
Sharon will find out Billy is trying to drag Adam down as usual, so she’ll call him out and try to shut it down.
The fact that Billy’s trying to involve Rey will really rile Sharon up, too. Even so, Billy will keep at it and will end up asking Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) to pitch in.
Sharon will also work to find out the real reason Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) is running from his life in London, so she may pry the story of his heartbreak out of him.
Over with Ashley, she’ll help Christine keep a secret from Abby – at least initially. There may be more Chance-related proof that Christine and Ashley are afraid of unloading on fragile Abby.
Victor will support Abby during her time of crisis – and that crisis will naturally continue during the week of November 1-5.
Abby will have to come to grips with her loss, but that’ll be easier said than done. Victor and Ashley will team up to console Abby, but they’ll have a hard time pulling that off.
Devon may have better luck since he always knows just what to say. Sharon will find that to be the case as well once she talks to Devon and realizes he’s a kindred soul in many ways.
Next, Jack will lend a sympathetic ear to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and will perhaps offer a pep talk about the issues within the Newman family – namely Nick’s feud with the others.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah will hold firm on something. She already patched things up with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), and Mariah’s new attitude seemed to offer genuine closure on the new baby idea.
Even so, Mariah may feel the need to step up with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor while Abby’s grieving.
On the other hand, Mariah might simply take a page out of Sharon’s playbook and urge Noah to divulge London details. Maybe Mariah will push Noah to confide in her and refuse to take no for an answer!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say the next two weeks will deliver some highs and lows, so stay tuned.
