The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, April 19 to April 30, tease that we’ll see some bold moves and fierce rivalries. During the week of April 19-23, Jabot’s reputation will be on the line. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is a nice guy, but he can play hardball if he has to.
This will certainly be one of those times since Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) is targeting Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and everything that matters to him. Jack will clash with Ashland before putting a plan in motion to protect the company.
Y&R spoilers say Jack will hope to stop Ashland from destroying what his family built, but Ashland won’t make it easy! As for Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), they’ll have a tense exchange after Summer finds Tara in Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) hotel suite.
Summer will eventually want to get a few things straight with Kyle’s former flame. She’ll deliver a warning and perhaps hope it reminds Tara that Kyle has moved on! Even so, Summer will continue to feel insecure and that could contribute to some issues in her engagement to Kyle.
Meanwhile, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will mull over an unsettling warning of her own. It’ll be Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) who texts Amanda about how things are going to end badly for her.
Amanda won’t let Imani or anyone else scare her away from the case, but she’ll no doubt be concerned about what’s in store.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will reject Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) attempt to patch things up. After Rey walks out on Sharon, he’ll wind up at Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse.
Rey will present the idea of retrieving Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) from boarding school, pretending he’s quite sick and letting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) come running!
Ashland will seem ill for real after a meeting with Victor ends in catastrophe. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashland’s heart attack or another similar issue will strike. Since Ashland will need medical assistance, Victor will use this dilemma to work in his favor.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will also find out a secret, so maybe Victor will admit Adam was indeed there and allude to his son’s new hiding spot.
During the week of April 26-30, Karla Mosley will take over the role of Amanda Sinclair temporarily. Mishael Morgan had to be replaced following emergency eye surgery, so Mosley has agreed to fill in and will make her debut as Amanda starting April 26.
There’ll be an Amanda actress swap, but the usual drama will keep moving right along.
Amanda likes the idea of proving herself to Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) and becoming a real part of the family, but there’ll definitely be some hurdles – especially since this isn’t what Imani wants.
Back with the Newman clan, there’ll be a bombshell that affects the whole family. Whether this ties in with Amanda’s case or not, the Newman family will indeed face stunning news.
Over with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), he’ll come up with a special plan to remember Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John). Devon’s gesture should be a sweet one that touches the hearts of those Neil left behind, especially Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines).
While Devon does something thoughtful to honor Neil’s memory, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will refuse to give up on the man she wants. She feels a serious spark with Jack and wants to see where things could lead between them.
Despite Jack’s decision to dump Sally and reject multiple apologies, Sally won’t shut the door on a potential future with him. Look for Sally to resort to drastic action to make Jack see her in a positive light again.
