The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will interrogate Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) make a painful adjustment. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will battle awkwardness after a surprise from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
During the week of September 6-10, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will gain a new perspective thanks to Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) advice about Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Connor has had plenty of struggles in his short life so far and still believes his parents are a couple, so Chloe will warn Sally about the potential for complications with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
As a result, Sally will promptly pull back and hit the reset button with Adam – though that won’t stop her feelings from growing!
Meanwhile, Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor will head home from the hospital, but Mariah will have a hard time stepping aside and letting Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) take the lead as his true mother.
Y&R spoilers say Mariah will receive much-needed support from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), but her pain and problems are far from over.
As for Abby, she’ll face more roadblocks when it comes to contacting Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) and bringing him home.
Next, Devon will confide his own baby issues to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
It’s clear that Devon felt an instant bond with Dominic, so he’ll still be trying to figure out what kind of role he’ll play in the boy’s life. Like Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), Lily should feel certain that Devon will figure it out in time.
Victor will stay busy in the week ahead, September 6-10, since he’ll recruit Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to snoop and report back with info on Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) investigation.
Although Victor will remain wary of Ashland and what he’s hiding, he’ll also have to turn his attention to Adam and his bad decisions.
Victor will disapprove of some moves Adam makes – and he’ll have concerns about what else Sally might have up her sleeve, too.
Sharon will ask how Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is doing and work to find out if “Chadam” is really over permanently, so we’ll see if Adam changes his stance.
As for Ashland, he’ll get a message he didn’t see coming – an unwanted one that should leave him a bit rattled.
Across town, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be emboldened by a couple glasses of wine as he shares his real feelings with Phyllis.
Jack will confess that he was hoping Sally would turn out to be more like Phyllis when he started dating her.
Jack will also admit he’s never really fallen out of love with Phyllis, so this confession will complicate their friendship for sure!
During the week of September 13-17, Jack will try to backtrack so that things aren’t quite so awkward between them.
Phyllis may insist everything’s fine, but she’ll no doubt pull away somewhat and try to process what’s in Jack’s heart. This could also lead to keeping secrets from Nick, which could spell trouble for their romance.
Speaking of trouble, Billy will land in hot water with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Look for Nikki to deliver a warning as she works to protect Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), but perhaps it’s Billy who’ll be in the better position to offer protection.
Billy is right about Ashland hiding something huge and horrible, so Victoria needs to know what it is.
Back with Victor, he could get some clues ahead of a confrontation with Ashland. Victor will put Ashland through a grilling session, so Ashland will have to play it cool and try to keep his secrets under wraps.
Finally, Devon and Mariah will do their best to make adjustments to their lives. They’ll want to respect boundaries and figure out their roles in Dominic’s little world, but there are bound to be more hurdles along the way.
