The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) condition will deteriorate while Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) seeks the whole murder truth. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also face lonely misery after losing Summer Newman (Hunter King), so Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will be more than happy to help.
During the week of June 28-July 2, Amanda will go looking for a fight. She’ll confront Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) and accuse him of being the one behind Richard Nealon’s death, not Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey).
Furthermore, Amanda will think Sutton has such a tight grip on Naya that he somehow coerced her into confessing to the GCPD.
Of course, Sutton may deny everything and act like Amanda’s the only one to blame here. There’ll be plenty of Y&R conflict as Amanda faces off with her grandfather in the park, but she won’t give up on proving Sutton’s guilt.
Naya will feel like she has to clear Naya’s name and get true justice for Richard.
Over with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’ll try and fail to get Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) illness details from Tara.
As more and more people start learning Ashland is sick, he’ll take comfort in the fact that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) doesn’t view him as weak or anything less than the man he was before.
Next, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will reel over Summer passing the JCV torch to her. Sally will become JCV’s acting president and will ultimately surprise Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) with an intriguing invite.
There’s a good chance Jack will take the bait – if only to see what Sally’s up to this time!
Kyle will battle heartache after Summer stands by the breakup and takes off to start her new life in Italy. Tara will step up to console Kyle, so she’ll push for a trip down memory lane and try to distract him from his sorrow.
During the week of July 5-9, Amanda will intensify her search for evidence against Sutton. Of course, there could be another curveball coming in this case if Sutton isn’t responsible after all.
There could be a different surprise murder culprit – like Amanda’s stepdad – who ends up becoming the prime murder suspect based on Amanda’s findings.
Regardless, Amanda won’t stop until she gets the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth! In the meantime, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will open up to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) about some worries he’s facing.
Kevin may still think it’s possible Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will rat Chloe out and bring serious backlash – the kind that could land Chloe in prison!
Then again, it might be the job offer Chloe accepted that worries Kevin. Going into business with Adam could lead to trouble, so Kevin may wonder if Chloe’s sure about accepting his offer.
However, the truth is it’s a good opportunity – and their family needs the money. Chloe may argue that it’s not a big deal since Adam doesn’t intend to be hands-on with the fashion outlet, but Kevin may still be concerned.
Speaking of Adam, he’ll become more and more affected by Chelsea’s illness. Adam will be crushed when Chelsea seems to be getting worse instead of better, so he’ll battle guilt and wish he could do something to truly help her.
As for the Abbotts, they’ll gather to make sure Harrison gets a warm welcome to their family. That welcome will extend to Tara, who’ll continue to manipulate Kyle to get what she wants.
This Abbott family party should bring some interesting moments, so Y&R fans will want to stay tuned!
We’ll pass along updates as other news emerges. The Young and the Restless spoilers for the next two weeks will set up some shockers and take characters in new directions.
