The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some tough situations are ahead in Genoa City. During the week of March 8-12, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will surprise Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) by speaking and revealing all the progress she’s been making behind Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) back.
Chelsea will need Chloe’s help as she works to make a clean break from Adam, so she’ll continue to deceive him about her condition and set him up for a major downfall. As for Adam, he’ll be pitted against Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as the battle for Cyaxares heats up.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will look forward to seeing how it all plays out, but he won’t count on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) teaming up with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) on their own power play.
The Cyaxares bidding war will bring some shockers as Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) arrives in town with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), but Ashland’s arrival will affect Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in a different way.
Kyle will be nervous about the damage Ashland could do if he figures out Kyle is the one Tara cheated with – and that Kyle is Harrison Locke’s true father.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) will try to relieve some of Kyle’s tension, so some steaminess might make his worries go away for a while. However, those worries should come roaring back once Kyle inevitably crosses paths with Tara and Ashland.
It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes Ashland to get suspicious of Kyle and Tara’s connection.
Kyle will work to hide his trail and avoid tipping Ashland off to trouble, but that plan is bound to go wrong! In the meantime, the Abbott and Newman rivalry will once again be in full swing. Jack and Victor will land in enemy territory again, so it should be fun to watch them go up against each other.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will make some questionable moves as her desire to come out on top takes over. It’ll leave Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) concerned about her daughter going too far, but you can bet Adam will be taking just as many gambles.
Victoria will eventually catch Billy by surprise, but will that be personally or professionally? Either way, Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) patience will start to run out when it comes to Victoria and her obsessive need to be around her ex.
As for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), they’ll get some help from a marriage counselor named Iris (Kathryn Browning). Sharon and Rey will put some serious work in as they try to save their relationship, but will it be enough?
That probably depends on whether Sharon can ever really get Adam out of her system and move on.
Even if Rey and Sharon have short-term success, it doesn’t seem like this marriage will be built to last since they’re already having problems. Speaking of problems, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will have one when she turns to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle).
Y&R fans will see Lola talk things out with Faith and come to her rescue somehow.
Over with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), she’ll make more plans for the surrogacy and the baby she hopes to welcome to her family.
Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will say goodbye to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) despite his lingering love for her. That’ll lead to a hot kiss between Elena and Devon, so we’ll see if things potentially get even steamier.
Regardless, Devon will apparently try to stick to his plan to move on from Elena and focus on Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Unfortunately, Amanda is poised to make a shocking discovery.
We’re hearing that Amanda will find Elena’s bracelet in or near the sofa – and that’ll tip Amanda off to the fact that another woman’s been in Devon’s penthouse.
It sounds like Amanda could confront Devon during the week of March 15-19. Perhaps Amanda will get a confession about the ice storm along with one about the more recent passionate moment. As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll feel like he has to do what’s best for him.
That could involve Nate’s personal life, but it could also involve work. Nate might find ways to distance himself from Elena – or maybe he’ll rethink the whole spokesperson gig he agreed to after Lily asked.
Whatever the case, Lily will have more important matters on her mind after Victoria pushes Lily to her limit.
While Lily has major outburst, Nikki will have one of her own – and her anger will be directed toward Adam. It sounds like Adam will pull something that upsets Victoria, so Nikki may feel the need to retaliate.
No matter who pulls ahead in the Cyaxares fight, it’ll be Victor who find some form satisfying victory in the end. Even if Victor loses the Newman-Abbott battle initially, there could be some twist that changes the game.
