The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks from August 16 to August 27 tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will fear she’ll have to give birth in captivity – and a kidnapper suspect will be cornered elsewhere. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also be involved in some risky business from Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) perspective, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
During the week of August 16-20, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will allow Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) to move to Milan and live with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as well as Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Ashland will continue to say and do all the right things to prove he’s evolved as a person, but Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will remain uneasy.
As far as Billy’s concerned, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is making a giant marriage mistake that she’ll live to regret.
Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will face Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) nasty threat before Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) kicks someone out of her hotel – and it seems likely that someone will be Sally!
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will come up with a strategy to cheer Phyllis up since she’s been so blue over Summer’s big move.
After Nick dubs it “Phyllis Appreciation Day,” he’ll pull off some fun stunts and put a smile on Phyllis’ face. A crazy blonde wig will even be involved, so Nick will really be going all out to help Phyllis forget her troubles.
Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will also sound the alarm based on something she learns and how it relates to the case of missing Mariah.
While Tessa passes along disturbing news, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will decide to look into Ashland’s history before offering his resources to track Mariah down.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will also hope Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins) can come through on a favor.
Denise might put her PI skills to good use on the Mariah mystery, but it actually seems like Devon may be more interested in what Denise can figure out about Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz).
During the week of August 23-27, Y&R spoilers say Mariah will panic in captivity. She’ll worry she’ll remain stuck once it’s time to give birth, which probably isn’t too far off since this baby’s been rapidly aged in the womb.
Mariah will fear she’s going to have to deliver her own baby all alone, but she’ll hold out hope that help will come.
As for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), he’ll team up with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) as they try to corner a top suspect. Will Ben “Stitch” Reyburn (Sean Carrigan) finally land on the hot seat?
Stitch has been acting incredibly suspicious, so let’s hope he gets grilled and brought down eventually if he’s indeed Mariah’s captor.
Next, Victor will warn Adam about something, so this may tie in with more concerns about Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) or even Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) now that she’s come aboard at Newman Media.
Finally, Moses Winters (Jacob Young Gaines) will be put to the test. Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will quiz Moses on something, so this may involve prepping him for a talk with her overprotective dad!
Nick will certainly want to ask Moses about his intentions with Faith as the teens begin their new romance.
