The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 23 to September 3, tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will face some scary contractions while Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) locates her phone signal and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) has a new emergency.
During the week of August 23-27, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get some good advice from Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about rising above her need for revenge.
Adam will feel like Sally would be better off focusing on her future and making all her haters jealous of her rise to the top.
That’ll seem like excellent guidance at the time, but Sally could be tempted down a vengeful path again later.
When Sally notices Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Y&R spoilers say she’ll do some spying.
If Sally scores leverage or at least sees the potential for an affair between these exes, she might want to keep an eye on the situation.
Sally will also sketch Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) ideal wedding gown and hope she can lock herself in as the designer for it.
In the meantime, Victoria will let doubts creep in about the merger and how much power she’s handing over to Ashland.
While Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) does research on Ashland’s background, Victor will do the same – and he’ll work on tracking Mariah down, too.
Thanks to a clue from Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan), Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will feel like he’s a step closer to catching Mariah’s kidnapper.
There’ll be some security footage that supposedly has the top suspect on it, but Rey won’t be able to get a clear view of him.
Kevin will thankfully have better luck with his task. After Kevin gets his IT team to break through the signal barrier, Kevin will be able to reveal where Mariah’s phone is located.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Mariah’s phone will necessarily be in the same place she’s being held captive.
Could Stitch have the phone on him or at least somewhere connected to him like in his car?
Regardless, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will take charge of the situation while the phone search is happening.
Abby will have to think fast and come up with a plan, so that could involve some way to pry the truth out of Stitch.
Mariah will start having contractions in captivity, so she’ll realize she’s in labor and make a desperate move.
After uncovering the camera in her room, she’ll beg her captor to do something. Mariah won’t want to give birth in that tiny room alone!
Fortunately, help is indeed on the way for Mariah, who’ll soon be discovered.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will make a stunning find, so he might be the one who first tracks Mariah down. Mariah will give birth eventually, so that should bring some joy at the end of this terrible nightmare.
During the week of August 30-September 3, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will get a surprising offer.
There’ll be some big opportunity for Elena, so this could involve career advancement and somehow complicate her relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
As for Billy, he’d better watch out since Victor and Nick will join forces against him.
If Nick and Victor decide to back off Ashland and just let Victoria be happy, they may have to take action against Billy before he blows up her wedding day.
However, Ashland will supposedly face a setback. Assuming that’s about Ashland’s health, it’ll be interesting to see if Ashland is legitimately struggling or if this is all a ploy.
The master of manipulation may be at it again, so stay tuned.
