The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some tough moments are ahead for several Genoa City residents. During the week of January 18-22, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will learn she’s unable to carry a baby.
Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will support Abby in any way he can, but it’ll be tough for Abby to cope with such heartbreaking news.
As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll flip out over Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) visit to the penthouse. That’ll lead to Chelsea imagining the worst-case scenario in her mind, so there’ll be lots of “Shadam” steaminess!
Chelsea will be extra motivated to move her recovery process along so that Sharon doesn’t steal her man, but she’ll push herself too hard as a result.
Over with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll get a warning from Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is the kind of guy who’s always gotten bored with relationships in the past.
Since Billy’s known for his impulsiveness and tends to get in trouble, Nate will hope Lily knows she should be careful. Otherwise, Lily could be headed for serious heartbreak.
Next, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get the scoop on Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Mind) and resolve to caution the troubled teen about the dangers of drinking. After Sharon asks Nikki to help Faith, Nikki will indeed try. Too bad Jordan (Madison Thompson) will keep peer pressuring Faith to party and steal booze!
Back with Abby, she’ll get some comfort from her doting dad. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have sympathy for Abby since she wanted a baby so badly. Of course, Victor will undoubtedly point out that he could pull strings and speed things along on an adoption or surrogacy.
Abby has options, but she’ll find it hard to see past her pain initially.
Meanwhile, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will come clean to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Jack will listen to Traci’s confession, which might involve Abby’s ordeal or perhaps another secret Traci’s been keeping from Y&R fans.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will also get grilled about his growing friendship with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), which Elena Dawson (Brynti Sarpy) doesn’t think will stay a friendship for much longer.
Elena will wonder where things stand between Devon and Amanda, so she’ll probably still be battling some jealousy and wondering what might’ve been.
Back with Nate, he’ll have an important conversation with Amanda. It looks like their meeting about Ask MD Now will allow these two to clear the air when it comes to their brief history.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will have to deal with another problematic Gloria Fisher Bardwell (Judith Chapman) visit. Gloria will be angry with Kevin, so she may hold him responsible for yanking away her blackmail plot and forcing her to miss out on so much cash.
During the week of January 25-29, Gloria will prove she can be quite the charmer when she wants to be. Gloria will be a bit of a smooth operator, so it’ll be interesting to see what she’s cooking up next!
Whether Gloria schemes with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) or finds some other GC resident to pester, there are bound to be issues.
Next, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will make a power play. Although Phyllis decided not to use the embezzlement cover-up to her advantage, will it come out anyway?
One way or another Victor may realize Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) deceived him and put Newman Enterprises in jeopardy. Victoria will face Victor’s ultimatum, so she certainly won’t be happy about that.
Back with Nikki, she’ll fret over Faith and hope she can help her granddaughter see the light. While Nikki works on a plan to make that happen, Devon will offer someone else a vow.
There’s a good chance that someone will be Amanda, so we’ll see what Devon promises and how it might help Amanda cope with all her family drama.
