It feels like Sharon’s trapped in a boring marriage to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) while the show merely teases fans with other options like Adam and now Nick.
They consistently intrigue viewers with hints that don’t actually go anywhere, so no one can count on a Nick and Sharon reunion to happen.
However, Chelsea is returning to Y&R soon and could get pulled back toward Nick again.
Melissa Claire Egan and Joshua Morrow have never been shy about their excitement over working together, so they would no doubt be on board for a Chelsea and Nick reunion.
That could flip things around on Adam and perhaps make him the jealous one. It would also complicate Adam and Sally’s budding love story and create a nice little quad, so it’s an outcome worth considering.
Chelsea’s mental health may not be in a completely stable place when she comes home – no matter how much she tries to hide it.
Nick could be the perfect person to help Chelsea since a huge part of her return story will be about whether she’s genuinely rehabilitated.
Since Nick loves to save damsels in distress, he might ride to Chelsea’s rescue and help her stay on a better path away from Adam.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) would definitely root for Nick over Adam, so we’ll see if a “Chick” reunion might be in the works.
Y&R spoilers say single Nick will need another love interest, so a former flame like Chelsea is certainly an option.
