The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will push Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to face the facts, but his harsh stance with her will come from a loving place.
While Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) accuses Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) of setting him up, Nick will be busy trying to get Sharon to accept the harsh reality of the situation.
It sounds like Nick will buy the Adam setup and believe his brother indeed poisoned Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will determine that Rey’s been exposed to thallium – and some GCPD discoveries at the cottage will back that up.
Nick may push Sharon to accept that Adam’s shown his true colors and that he’s fully capable of this. Perhaps Nick will believe without hesitation that Adam poisoned Rey through thallium in his shaving cream, body wash and hair gel.
There’s no denying that Adam’s done some pretty heinous things like messing with Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) medication dosage and plotting to blow up the Newman Tower with his family inside.
Nick will no doubt hope that this is the last straw for Sharon – what finally convinces her she has to shut Adam out of her life for good. After Nick takes this stance with Sharon on March 25, he’ll face some shocking news during the week of March 29-April 2.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’ll be some bombshell that alarms Nick, but it sounds like it’ll come after Nick’s embraced the idea of guilty Adam.
Could that mean Nick will uncover evidence that could potentially clear Adam’s name? Could Nick be the one who figure out Chelsea’s behind the plot instead?
There’s the potential for Chloe to learn the extent of Chelsea’s plot and spill something. Nick might even show up at the penthouse and overhear Chloe arguing with Chelsea.
There could easily be some scenario where Nick realizes Chelsea’s been hiding her recovery and scheming against Adam with a wild plan.
Whatever the case, Nick’s the perfect person to put in the middle of all this since he’s Chelsea’s ex, Sharon’s former flame, Adam’s brother and Rey’s best bud. It’s a no-brainer to put Nick at the center of the drama and possibly have him expose the real story.
Y&R fans know Nick and Rey have established a strong friendship, so Nick makes sense as someone who might uncover who actually poisoned his pal – or at least the person who ordered an accomplice to do it.
Will Nick be the one to unravel the mystery and point the finger at Chelsea?
Although Nick would certainly understand Chelsea’s desire to take Adam down, he couldn’t get on board with Chelsea poisoning Rey and targeting Sharon’s husband.
This is going way too far! Maybe Nick will have to step up and clear Adam by blowing up Chelsea’s scheme.
