The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get some distressing news during the week of January 11-15. As Y&R viewers know, Phyllis got very excited after she talked with Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and learned that a high-level executive at a Newman Enterprises subsidiary embezzled money and the whole thing was covered up.
That led Phyllis to presume that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) must have swept the whole situation under the rug to keep her dad Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) from finding out about it and firing her as CEO.
It’s the perfect leverage for Phyllis to lord over Victoria’s head, and she’s dying to use it to her advantage.
Well, unfortunately for Phyllis, she’ll learn from Kevin that he’s destroyed the evidence of the embezzlement scandal from the flash drive that his mom Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) left behind at the Chancellor mansion.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that will leave Phyllis feeling deflated, and Kevin will even try to get Phyllis to take the high road and drop the whole thing.
But will Phyllis really drop this matter? We doubt it, knowing Phyllis. But now that Kevin has destroyed Gloria’s evidence, what’s Phyllis to do? Well, Y&R spoilers indicate that Gloria will head back to Genoa City soon, and we wouldn’t be surprised if that’s at Phyllis’ urging.
Might Phyllis seek out Gloria for help getting evidence of the Newman embezzlement scandal?
Gloria might be the one person who can help Phyllis nail Victoria to the wall at this point. Perhaps Gloria has a backup of the files that were on the flash drive that Kevin had in his possession, or she might know where to get backups of the files.
Y&R viewers will remember that Gloria was once on the phone with someone working with her on her scheme, so that person could have a backup.
We’ll see what happens here, but since Gloria will be coming back to Genoa City, and Phyllis has every reason to need Gloria, we wouldn’t be surprised if Phyllis is the one who gets Gloria back in town. And if Phyllis and Gloria team up – then watch out!
