The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could take a risk that doesn’t pay off. Summer Newman (Hunter King) knows she has to do whatever she can to keep the peace with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
There’s a lot riding on Sally’s truce with Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) since Sally knows way too much. Sally’s in the loop on Kyle’s affair with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), who’s the wife of Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) the ruthless mogul.
Sally also doesn’t seem to buy Kyle’s repeated claims about Harrison Locke not being his son. The fact that Sally knows it’s possible is more than enough leverage.
Sally could cause quite a stir if she takes everything she’s learned to Ashland or even pitches some exclusive story to a media outlet. Kyle and those connected to him could all become targets.
Ashland seems to be figuring out Kyle’s role in the affair anyway, but it’s Sally’s Harrison suspicions that could be the most damaging.
Whatever the case, Summer’s counting on Phyllis to keep her mouth shut about all the dirt Summer found in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, Phyllis can’t stand the idea of Sally dating Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and may end up blurting out all the California bombshells eventually.
Phyllis may not be able to take it anymore, which could lead to Jack learning all about Sally’s wild LA history – like how Sally faked a terminal illness and was behind a kidnapping as well as a pregnancy trap.
That might feel good to spill in the moment, but it seems like it’ll be an epic Y&R blunder if Phyllis rats Sally out over her past.
For starters, Jack may not even truly care since Sally’s been clear about doing some things she regrets and trying to move on. Jack may not deny Sally her clean slate after he learns all the details, so The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest
Phyllis’ move might fail anyway. Jack may insist that Sally’s focused on the future now and still deserves her fresh start in Genoa City.
However, this could certainly rile Sally up and turn her against Summer, Kyle and especially Phyllis. This might make Phyllis a revenge target and make her wish she’d never dared to cross Sally!
Perhaps Sally will emerge victorious when she keeps Jack and gets an opportunity to make Phyllis pay, too. The Young and the Restless spoilers say the excitement’s about to rev up in Sally and Phyllis’ rivalry story.
