The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will continue to be enchanted by the much-younger Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). As Y&R viewers know, Sally seems to have her eye on Jack, and Jack has given Sally mixed signals.
On the one hand, Jack has defended and encouraged Sally, but on the other hand he shot Sally down when she suggested they travel together.
It appears that Jack will continue gravitating toward Sally in the days to come. In the episode to air on Monday, February 22, Jack will even defend Sally to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) – something that will really end up worrying Phyllis.
As Y&R viewers are aware, both Phyllis and Summer Newman (Hunter King) have been seriously concerned about Jack’s fascination with Sally.
Well, it seems that Summer and Phyllis will decide that it’s time to do something to protect Jack from the likes of Sally. Neither Summer nor Phyllis will want to see Sally get her hooks in Jack, and they’ll want to do whatever they can to prevent a relationship from forming there.
Phyllis will think that Jack is too vulnerable right now, and she’ll see herself as his protector.
But something tells us that the more that Summer and Phyllis push Jack to distance himself toward Sally, the more he’ll defend her. It seems that Jack and Sally will soon have a date on the books, and Sally will push Jack to find out whether this is an official date.
It looks like it will be, much to Phyllis and Summer’s chagrin.
We’ll see what Phyllis and Summer do to plot to keep Sally away from Jack, but really what can they do?
Summer could conceivably spill all of the dirt she found out about Sally in Los Angeles to Jack, but then Sally could spill what she knows about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) affair with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Maybe Phyllis will have something up her sleeve to deter Jack from wanting to see Sally, but it’s probably more likely that the more Phyllis fights Jack on the issue, the more he’ll dig in and take Sally’s side.
In the end, Phyllis and Summer’s plans could totally backfire and they could wind up pushing Jack right into Sally’s open arms!
It will be interesting to see what happens between Sally and Jack, but let’s face it – Jack’s lonely and he could use a good romance right about now. And Sally will be willing and able, so Phyllis and Summer may have no choice than to sit back and watch Jack embark on the new relationship!
