The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Friday, February 26, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will talk at Society, and Nick will disclose that Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is staying with him for a while.
Rey will say that he’s talking with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) later, and he’ll wonder aloud if he’s just kidding himself that he and Sharon can work through this problem regarding Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Nick will tell Rey that Sharon discounts his opinion about Adam, but that perhaps Rey can get through to Sharon about how toxic Adam is. Nick will be afraid that if Rey can’t get through to Sharon, no one will be able to get through to her.
Meanwhile, over at the Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be irked when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) comes to pick up Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to go car shopping.
Later, Nick will arrive and talk with Phyllis, who will rant about Sally fawning over Jack. Nick will wonder why Phyllis cares, and he’ll instruct her to stay out of it.
At Adam’s penthouse, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will come to visit with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Adam will be reluctant to let Chloe in, but Chloe will barge in and wrangle some alone time with Chelsea.
Chelsea will start crying, and Chloe will notice. Chelsea will show Chloe that she can move her hand, and Chloe will gather that Adam doesn’t know about it.
Chloe will ask if Chelsea’s in physical danger, and Chelsea will blink twice for no. Chelsea will be frustrated that she can’t tell Chloe about what happened between Sharon and Adam.
Adam will return to the room and shoo Chloe out, but Chloe will say that she’ll return soon and be there for Chelsea. When Chloe gets out the apartment to the elevator she texts someone that she thinks Chelsea needs help!
After Chloe’s gone and Adam leaves the room, Chelsea will make a fist with her hand.
At Crimson Lights, Jack will talk with Sharon about the kiss photo, and Sharon will defend Adam, saying that he was just acting in the moment. Sally will walk in, gushing about her new car, and he and Jack will head to the patio, where they’ll discuss their dating status.
Jack will say that he likes spending time with Sally, and they’ll decide to see where things go between them and not put a lot of pressure on it. After Sally goes, Jack will talk to Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) via phone, telling her that he just had the best day that he’s had in ages.
At Sharon’s house, Rey and Sharon will meet to talk through their issue. Sharon will be in total denial about the larger problem in their relationship – that she can’t seem to stay away from Adam.
Rey will say that he is committed to Sharon and to working on their marriage, and he’ll strongly advocate for marital counseling, but Sharon will balk.
Rey will confront Sharon with the kiss picture again, showing her that she wasn’t resisting the kiss at all, and he’ll think that that part of her is addicted to Adam. Sharon will tell Rey that he’s wrong, and she’ll continue to resist therapy as a way to deal with the problem of Adam in their marriage.
Back at the Grand Phoenix, Sally will walk in and wave to Nick, who will still be in the lobby. Sally will tell Phyllis that she’s moving out of the hotel and into the GCAC.
Phyllis will suddenly realize that a larger suite is available for Sally, so Sally will say that she’s staying, Later, Phyllis will tell Nick that she wants to keep Sally close to keep an eye on her.
