The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Monday, March 8, tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will gently quiz Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) about an antique figurine that’s missing from the house.
Sharon will explain that someone gave the figurine to her long ago, and she’ll flash back to an earlier time when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) gave her the figurine.
Soon, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will arrive, and Faith will tell him and Sharon that she hopes they can work things out in their marriage. Rey will press Sharon about whether she’s found a suitable therapist for them, and he’ll notice that she’s pensive and on edge about the whole thing.
Rey will think that Sharon is reluctant to undergo counseling, but she’ll eventually call a therapist and make an appointment.
Later, Faith will be alone in the living room when she gets a text saying: “Pretty brave of you, putting those mean girls where they belong. Like an avenging angel.” Sharon will walk in, saying that she’s happy that Faith is living back at the house now. Sharon and Faith will happily affirm their love for each other.
At Chancellor Communications, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will talk about their plans to acquire Cyaxares Media, then they’ll step out of the office for a tryst.
Once Billy and Lily return to the office, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will enter, and he’ll turn out to be their investor for the Cyaxares Media deal.
At Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that she’s seeking to acquire Cyaxares Media from Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and is going up against several parties, which include Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam.
Victoria will explain that Victor wants to weaponize Cyaxares Media against Chancellor Communications and that she thinks she can win this game.
At Society, Adam will tell Victor that he’s in on the plan to acquire Cyaxares Media, which will thrill Victor, who will want to move ahead aggressively.
Adam will insist that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) are his priority, but that he’s 100% committed to the business.
Victor will warn Adam to keep the situation with Sharon under control, and then Victoria and Nikki will arrive at the restaurant. Adam will take off, and Victor will ask if Victoria is making a move for Cyaxares Media.
Victoria will cryptically say that she’s doing what’s best for Newman Enterprises, and Nikki will tell Victor that she doesn’t approve of him pitting Victoria against Adam. Victor will want to see who comes out on top.
At Adam’s penthouse, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will come to see Chelsea, and Chelsea will unexpectedly talk to Chloe. Chelsea will fill Chloe in on how she’s been moving and standing, and Chloe will want Chelsea to come home with her.
Chelsea will refuse, saying that she wants Adam to think she’s still paralyzed.
Chelsea will go onto say that she wants to end this chapter of her life, and that she wants a clean break from Adam. “But I also need your help,” Chelsea will tell Chloe.
A short time later, Adam will return, and Chloe will take off. Adam will tell Chelsea about his plans for Cyaxares Media and how he’s going to crush Billy, and Chelsea will say to herself that the only one who’s going to be crushed is Adam.
