The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 2, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will bump into Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) at Crimson Lights, and the topic of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will come up.
Lauren will have noticed that Jack and Sally are getting closer, and she won’t think it matters what anyone else thinks – as long as Sally and Jack are enjoying themselves.
At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will struggle to explain to Summer Newman (Hunter King) why he didn’t tell her about his now-cancelled trip to New York.
Summer will ask if Kyle was going to see Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner), and she’ll say that Sally threw out a hint that there was something that she didn’t know.
Kyle won’t really answer Summer, and he’ll talk around the issue until Gloria Fisher Bardwell (Judith Chapman) walks in to tell Summer that she’s got a meeting with Lauren at Society.
Summer will have to go, and Gloria will shrewdly gather that Summer and Kyle were talking about Sally.
Later, Kyle will be looking at a picture of three-year-old Harrison Locke on his phone when Sally comes in and notices. Sally and Kyle will bicker, with Sally subtly threatening to spill the beans about his affair with Tara and their possible son.
Kyle will tell Sally that Harrison isn’t his kid, and later Kyle will leave his phone in the boardroom.
At the Grand Phoenix, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get concerned when he catches Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) with Sally’s laptop.
Nick will want Phyllis to leave the whole thing alone, as Phyllis explains that Sally’s browsing history indicates that she’s doing research on Jack and the Abbott family.
Nick will think that Phyllis is simply always drawn to conflict and has to have a nemesis, but Phyllis will insist that this is about protecting their daughter. Phyllis will tell Nick that when Sally’s long one, everyone will thank her for that.
At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will practice moving her hand, and she’ll even be able to pull herself up from her wheelchair a little.
Chelsea will be irked with Adam as he tells her that maybe they should leave Genoa City to focus on her recovery. Chelsea will want to recover and dump Adam, and once Adam leaves she’ll again pull herself up in her wheelchair.
Later, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will come to see Chelsea while Adam’s out. Chloe will want to know why Chelsea didn’t want Adam to see the progress she was making, and she’ll have Chelsea type out words on her phone.
Chelsea will type “Sharon” and “Adam,” and Chloe will ask questions until she realizes that Adam and Sharon may be together.
At Society, Summer will meet with Lauren, and Lauren will ask why Phyllis is so insistent on meeting with her. Summer will reluctantly say that it’s probably about Sally.
Phyllis will arrive, and Summer will take off to head back to work. Phyllis will tell Lauren that Sally’s bad news and that she has her sights set on Jack.
Lauren will balk, saying that Sally and Jack are adults, but Phyllis sill insist that Jack is lonely and vulnerable, and that he’s going to fall for Sally. Phyllis will say that Summer is at risk too, and that Sally’s very ambitious.
Back at Crimson Lights, Adam will meet with Dr. Lena Cavett (Dana Sparks) on the patio as Sharon Rosales (Sharon Newman) watches from inside. Adam will ask Dr. Cavett about taking Chelsea out of town to recover, but Dr. Cavett won’t think it’s a good idea.
Afterwards, Sharon will inquire with Adam about Chelsea, and Adam will say that they should stay away from each other.
Later, Nick and Jack will bump into each other at Crimson Lights, and Nick will tell Jack that Phyllis’ new mission concerns him. Jack will gather that this is about Sally, and he’ll wonder what Phyllis is up to.
Back at Jabot, Summer will enter the boardroom looking for Kyle, and when she calls Kyle’s phone, she’ll hear a ring close by. Summer will pick up Kyle’s phone from a nearby chair.
Finally, back at Adam’s penthouse, Adam will return to find Chelsea and Chloe still communicating about Sharon and Adam’s connection.
Adam will remark that he’s obviously interrupted something, and Chloe will say that she and Chelsea aren’t done with girl time yet. Adam will leave the room.
