The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will end up in a fight for his life at the hospital. Y&R fans know Rey keeled over recently and lost consciousness, so Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will struggle with her emotions by his bedside.
Rey will be in a coma as Sharon waits to see if he’s going to be all right.
This will definitely force Sharon to take stock of the mistakes she’s made in her relationship and will bring the desire to do better. All Sharon will be looking for is a chance to move forward with Rey, but he has to open his eyes first!
Things will get pretty bleak since Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) won’t even be sure Rey’s going to make it. Death will become a terrifying possibility since Rey will be in such bad shape.
Sharon won’t even want to think about the idea that Rey might not wake up, but the situation will indeed be dire.
Fortunately, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will ultimately awaken and begin the road to recovery. Some startling updates will await Rey once he’s alert and can process some big news.
Based on some bloodwork findings, Nate and Elena will determine that Rey had a large amount of thallium in his system. Rey will be presented with some potential ways he might’ve been exposed to that thallium, but he’ll shut down all of them.
This won’t make much sense until the cops do a sweep of the cottage and realize that Rey was intentionally poisoned. Rey’s body wash bottle will contain thallium – and so will Rey’s hair gel and shaving cream.
Once Rey knows he was poisoned, he’ll immediately blame Adam. Rey will think this is just the kind of thing Sharon’s devious ex would do. The poisoning plot will have Adam written all over it as far as Rey’s concerned.
There won’t be anything that could change Rey’s mind in the initial aftermath of the thallium exposure news. Rey will be determined to take Adam down for this, but Adam isn’t actually responsible.
It seems Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) orchestrated all this, but who helped her? That’s a question that Y&R will have to tackle as this storyline moves along.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was firm about not wanting to harm other people and got Chelsea’s promise that this would be strictly about Adam. Since Chloe isn’t the one who poisoned Rey’s bathroom bottles, who did?
It could be a character that fans already know or even just a story point that’s glossed over – like when The Young and the Restless had a random day player kidnap Chelsea for Adam. He was just a hired guy who pitched in on the plot and wasn’t really important.
Even so, it’s wise to consider all the possibilities and that means Chelsea’s sinister accomplice might be someone viewers recognize. Either way, Chelsea is the person who set all this in motion if the clues add up the way they seem to.
Chelsea and her partner in crime will get busted eventually, so they’d better get ready to be held accountable!
