The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) could score proof that points to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) cheating. Will Sally’s spying lead to video evidence and give Phyllis a taste of her own medicine?
Y&R fans know Phyllis was on a mission to bring Sally down and ultimately succeeded through the security cam footage at The Grand Phoenix.
Phyllis was able to give Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) proof of Sally’s suspicious behavior, which led to Sally getting caught in a lie and dumped by Jack.
Of course, Sally also got fired after Phyllis proved she reached out to Eric Forrester (John McCook) and pushed him to make the Milan job offer happen for Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Sally made it clear that Phyllis would regret the takedown – and that’ll especially be true if Phyllis can’t give it a rest.
Now that Sally has landed on her feet at Newman Media, Phyllis certainly doesn’t seem happy about it.
If Phyllis goes too far in trying to destroy Sally’s new opportunity, that could seal the deal on Phyllis’ downfall. Regardless, Sally is already craving revenge and may soon find a path to achieving it.
During the week of August 23-27, Sally will do some spying. It turns out Phyllis and Jack will be the pair Sally observes, so she may notice they seem a bit too close for comfort.
The show’s definitely been inching Jack and Phyllis in each other’s direction lately, so there’s the potential for temptation – particularly now that Jack’s in such a vulnerable place.
Since Phyllis destroyed Sally’s shot with Jack, Sally may be highly motivated to ruin Phyllis’ happiness with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Naturally, Nick would never take Sally’s word for anything, so she’d need hard evidence of cheating or at least what looks like something inappropriate.
If the show’s building to Phyllis and Jack crossing a line in their friendship – like a forbidden kiss – Sally’s spying might pay off.
Perhaps Sally could score video evidence just like Phyllis scored of her or snap a pic to spread around.
Regardless, Sally’s going to watch Jack and Phyllis closely, so there has to be a reason why. This could easily build to some shocking discovery eventually along with the proof Sally needs to bring Phyllis down!
