The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) could be gearing up for a vengeful new Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) strategy. Will Sally manipulate Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) into protecting Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) heart?
Y&R fans know Adam is doing whatever he can to repair his relationships with his siblings. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) extended an olive branch by inviting Adam to her wedding, so now he’s returning the favor by working to protect her.
Adam has been going up against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) urging and wants to preserve Victoria’s happiness.
It’s true that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) has been keeping secrets, but Adam likes the guy and knows Victoria still loves him. For now, that love trumps all.
However, the situation’s a little different with Nick, who’s in a relationship with Phyllis – someone Adam doesn’t like and doesn’t trust.
Protecting Nick would probably look a lot different since Adam and Phyllis have an ongoing feud. Driving Phyllis out of Nick’s life might be preferable in Adam’s mind.
That’s especially true if Phyllis starts giving Adam ideas! During the week of October 18-22, Sally will once again do some spying.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will spot Phyllis and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) sharing a close moment, so what will she do next?
There’s surely a point to Sally witnessing this, so maybe it’s so she can keep her revenge plans alive.
Sally would still like to destroy Phyllis deep down and might decide to use Adam as part of her strategy.
Now that Adam’s all about protecting his siblings, Sally might tip him off to the affair risk between Jack and Phyllis.
It’d be a good way for Sally to keep her hands clean, sit back and enjoy the show!
Adam could take matters into his own hands by warning Nick or even exposing things if Phyllis ends up crossing the line with Jack.
Regardless, Y&R is keeping Sally in Adam’s orbit as well as keeping this Phyllis angle in play.
All of that may collide if Sally uses Adam’s desire to protect Nick to her advantage. If Phyllis dares to do anything inappropriate with Jack, Adam may be right there waiting to blow everything up!
