The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may use Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and the dirt she’s sitting on to her full advantage. Y&R fans know Sally left Tara on edge by bringing up their “mutual friend,” Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Sally suggested that Kyle had run in the same social circles in New York, but Tara denied knowing Kyle and pretended she’d only just met him.
However, Sally was quite eager to get coffee with Tara and chat about her shoe line, which does quite well internationally. We also heard Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about Tara checking in at Fenmore’s flagship store.
There was even talk about how Tara’s sharp when it comes to matters in the financial realm, so Ashland listens and sometimes takes her advice.
Of course, Tara also warned Summer Newman (Hunter King) about Sally being a threat, so let’s put all these clues together. Y&R made a point to establish Tara as someone with fashion connections and someone who gives Ashland guidance about financing.
There was even that moment where Tara suggested Sally wouldn’t get to meet Ashland unless she was making a multi-million dollar deal.
Could Sally shift her strategy away from Summer and Kyle? Why not focus on Tara since she’s got even more to lose in all of this? Sally didn’t seem to buy Kyle’s claim that Harrison Locke wasn’t his son.
Sally could easily threaten to spill to Ashland about Kyle being the one Tara cheated with – and drop the bomb that Harrison might be an Abbott.
Just how much is keeping that information quiet worth to Tara? Could it be worth a meeting with Ashland and a push to finance Sally’s dream fashion house?
Sally talked to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about that being her ultimate goal, so The Young and the Restless spoilers say this could be Sally’s chance to make something happen for herself.
Tara might have no choice but to act like Sally’s going to be the next big thing in fashion and convince Ashland that she’s worth investing in. Ashland will be making a pretty penny off the sale of Cyaxares, so he’ll have some extra money to potentially float Sally’s way.
The problem is Ashland is a smart guy and might suspect that Sally’s blackmailing his wife!
