The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will question Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) motives, so he may warn the sneaky Spectra not to drag Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) down with whatever she’s plotting.
Y&R fans know Victor doesn’t like Sally, which is understandable considering what she did to his granddaughter.
Sally blew up Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Hunter King) relationship and went after her job, so Victor has some good reasons not to trust her.
Although everything worked out for Summer in the end, that doesn’t change the fact that Sally played dirty and caused heartbreak.
Victor was willing to let Sally join the team at Newman Media and even put up with her attending the Tuscany wedding, but some big changes are brewing.
That’s because Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is headed back to Genoa City starting December 14. One problematic woman is more than enough for Adam to be dealing with, so Victor will have his hands full keeping an eye on Chelsea.
Chelsea will want a romantic reunion with Adam, which Victor may vehemently disapprove of considering she tried to frame him for poisoning Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) earlier this year.
Even so, Victor can respect the family Adam and Chelsea have together with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
As a result, Victor may not like the idea of Sally posing any kind of threat to Adam and the fam.
Since Sally also seems to be spying on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and inserting herself into that drama, Victor may feel like that’s another area where Sally could cause problems.
Bottom line, Victor will think Sally’s trouble and won’t want Adam landing in more of it because of her.
During the week of December 20-24, Sally’s intentions will come under scrutiny. Victor will want to take a closer look at Sally and what her true motives are, so this could involve confronting Sally and offering a stern warning.
Victor may urge Sally to give all her attention to the fashion platform and stop sniffing around Adam.
Victor might sense the feud that’s developing between Chelsea and Sally before pushing the feisty redhead not to do anything that might disrupt Adam’s family – for Connor’s sake if nothing else.
