The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) photo could be the last straw for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Will Nick dump Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for constantly turning to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)?
Y&R viewers know Phyllis and Nick have experienced a major disconnect lately. Nick has been impossible to talk to, so it’s no wonder Phyllis has been leaning on Jack instead.
Jack is always reasonable and full of wisdom while Nick’s become a big whiner who lashes out at Phyllis over nothing.
Of course, we’re not giving Phyllis a total pass here since she’s indeed a bit too close to her ex! Jack has admitted he’s still in love with Phyllis and perhaps always will be, so no one could blame Nick for being insecure.
It’d probably be smart for Phyllis to back off under the circumstances, but there’s just nobody who understands her quite like Jack does.
Phyllis’ only other real friend is perhaps Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) – and that friendship is certainly nowhere near as deep as the one she has with Jack.
Unfortunately, Jack and Phyllis’ bond may be a little TOO deep as far as Nick is concerned. Nick seems to be getting more and more fed up with Phyllis using Jack as a confidant. During the week of October 25-29, things could get even worse.
Phyllis will once again lean on Jack for support, so she’ll walk away with good advice as usual. Later, Phyllis will push Nick to accept the reality of a situation and most likely infuriate him in the process.
Nick doesn’t like to be told what to do anyway, but he may have even more of an objection if he feels like Jack essentially told Phyllis what to say.
It’ll probably start to feel like there are three people in this relationship – and that’s just not going to work for Nick long-term.
We should also think about what Sally intends to do with that photo she snapped in Tuscany – the one of Jack and Phyllis looking way too cozy on the bed together.
Sally loves to stir the pot and just might find some opportunity to show that pic to Nick. It’ll surely fit into the story one way or another.
The picture itself is fairly innocent, but it’s also inappropriate considering Jack’s true feelings.
Nick isn’t going to approve and might decide he just can’t take it anymore. Will Sally’s photo push Nick over the edge and convince him to break up with Phyllis?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis and Nick’s romance is hanging by a thread, so we’ll see if that pic is what finally snaps it.
