The Young and the Restless Spoilers: September Preview – Ominous Messages, Hidden Agendas, Baby Drama & Complicated Love

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a September preview, which points to ominous messages, hidden agendas, baby drama and complicated love. Here’s what fans can look forward to during the action-packed month of September.

For starters, more baby problems are on the horizon as Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) struggles with her separation from Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) son.

Mariah will definitely have to lean on Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) as she does her best to accept Abby’s role as this child’s mother.

Of course, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have his own issues to deal with. He’ll have a hard time due to the bond he feels with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor, who biologically belongs to him.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will serve as a confidant and will no doubt offer some advice as well.

Chance Chancellor’s (last played by Donny Boaz) absence will also take a toll on Abby, who’ll be unsuccessful in reaching him for a while.

That could give Abby an opportunity to lean on Devon and set the stage for trouble.

As for Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), he’ll uncover some hidden agenda of Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) and may act like it’s some big “gotcha” moment.

However, Adam may deny Rey’s claims or at least act like things have been blown out of proportion.

We’ll see if Adam’s ulterior motives pertain to his bond with Sharon or perhaps his new one with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Regardless, Adam will suspect Sally has some ulterior motives as well and will call her out.

It sounds like Sally and Adam’s budding romance could face some issues before it ever really gets off the ground!

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will continue to juggle wedding prep with giving Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) the help he needs.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will sense that Victoria has some reservations about this impending marriage, but she’ll also sense that Victoria’s still excited on some level.

There’ll be mixed signals that leave Nikki confused, but that’s just because Victoria will be torn. In the meantime, Ashland will deliver an invite to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that’s sure to catch the doc off guard.

September will bring an ominous message for Ashland as well, so that could involve something from his past coming back to haunt him.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will certainly keep working to expose the whole story of that older woman who mentored Ashland.

There’s much more to uncover, so Billy will do whatever it takes to learn all the facts about how Ashland acquired those two pivotal news stations.

Back with Adam, he’ll land on the hot seat as Sharon quizzes him about Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and what the future holds.

Adam has been adamant about moving forward on a new path, so we’ll see if he sticks to that.

According to September preview info, Y&R fans will see more sparring between Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Victor won’t think Adam’s making smart choices, so that may go for business as well as his personal life.

Since Victor won’t trust Sally, he’ll object the longer she’s in Adam’s orbit – especially if they move past their looming trust issues and grow even closer.

Speaking of growing even closer, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will do that this September, too.

There’ll be some confessions and perhaps some complicated feelings, so stay tuned.

That’s it for your September preview, but we’ll provide updates as other Y&R details come in!
